Danny Widler in his weekly column in the Sunday Herald made a reference, that the tigers were interested in talking to Sticky re 2011\. Now most things Danny Boy writes is crap but you never never know and the old saying where their is smoke their is fire may be true.

My guess the club is looking around in case the Sheens thing turns sour. Anyway sure to get some people angry, I would not touch him with a barge pole but the player seem to like him and he dosnt seem to have any trouble attracting players to play under him.

Ricky wouldnt be doing any behind the scenes stuff with the Tigers unless Sheens knows about it.

He'd be an interesting choice for us. He's proven himself to be a very good defensive coach, but has been found wanting in the attack department. But i think joe blow could coach us and we'd still score points with our attack. Personally i'd say no, but at least Sheens is finally under genuine pressure.

One way to ensure Sheens gets a bit more support

If he'd made the finals for the seven years he's been here…that would be one thing...but eight years in one club is a long long time for a bloke whos only gotten us to September once

Yeah it's an interesting one with Sheens isn't it.

Plenty to like and dislike about his time here.

I would prefer Folkes if a change was made.

Staurt ended dismally with Easts,has done nothing at Cronulla & lost the un-losable World Cup for Aust.
I cant understand why we would want him,particularly when Folkes is already on board.I dont think he brings much at all other than personal passion,which he doesnt seem to be able to translate to his players.
Folkes is a proven winner,brings very good qualities in fitness,disciple & defence(things we need),& whilst his time at the Dogs ended on a sour note,it was probably a function of simply just having been there too long & the players needing a fresh direction..
….take note Mr Sheens!

Sheens as a coaching director with stuart (one of his former premiership winning players) as head coach, that sounds more realistic. Sheens would still be having his two cents worth..

I wouldn't want stuart at the club under no means.

I cant see it happening personally. Blokes like Fonz, Sticky and Bellyache are too close for one of them to takeover from another. Thry are all staunch mates from the Canberra days and are very loyal to eachother.

Yeah, he was a great player but has been a pretty ordinary coach. The only reason the Roosters did any good with him was thanks to the players he inherited such as Fitler.

Served an apprenticeship for the last four years working with two of the best coaches in the world in Bellamy & Bennett.

Everyone has to start somewhere.

If past achievments are the sole criteria, then only Bennetts resume will Trump, who is a convicted Rapist and Felon Sheens'.
But there should be a bit more to it than that.

3 GF's 1 premiership,1 SOO series & he took a wooden spoon looking sharks outfit to equal first in 08
But in saying that if he came to the tigers (which will not happen) we would become the most entertaining side to the most boring side over night & i can't cop his constant whinging.

he won a premiership with a team of Champions. and a team on paper that should have won more.
Soon as he looses his play maker, his team is a bottom dweller team. he goes to the sharks who once again had a great team and once again they go to bottom dwellers. He is a SOO coach, so was Wayne Pierce. if we go off their accomplishemnts we have the best now. Current Aussie Coach, SOO Coach ,City Coach (or country) Premiership x 4.. we won a title with a team we shouldnt have, Never had a star studded team,.

I cant stand RS and his whining either… its so draining on the ears lol.. wha wah wah.. sounds like Charlie browns friggin teacher

I think our current coach is the right person for the job.. and HE keeps Marshall Happy

He's no apprentice, hes the current Kiwis test coach, but were not allowed to use that according to you.
