Sue charged by Match Review Committee

Wests Tigers Media

Mon 17th July, 11:00AM

Wests Tigers forward Sauaso Sue has been charged by the Match Review Committee from the Club's Round 19 loss against the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles yesterday.

The 25-year-old forward was hit with a Grade 1 Dangerous Contact - Other charge for lifting his legs while running in a tackle from Apisai Koroisau in the 65th minute of the match.

Sue's charge has attracted a 170-point charge with his 71 carryover points, meaning that he will miss the Club's Round 20 clash against the Parramatta Eels regardless of an early guilty plea.

The Club has until 12:00pm Tuesday to enter a plea and has not done so yet.

Sea Eagles forward Darcy Lussick was also hit with a Grade 1 Contrary Conduct charge for pulling the hair of Aaron Woods, but will not miss a game with a fine $1,350 and the early plea.

Should be charged for pretending to be an NRL player.

Definitely gone backwards in 2017.

Maybe time to get off the bus at the end of 2017 street

Contracted in 2018.

Well he did nothing on the weekend so hopefully he has some sort of epiphany on the sideline this week.

Funny.

On the contrary, Marty Taupau had a great game.
20 runs for 192m, with 17 tackles and 5 tackle busts.

We always seem to lose the wrong players, and keep the duds. How good our team would look in 2018 if we still had Taupau. I still believe that we are an impact prop, winger and bulldozing 2RF from being a top 8 side. Taupau would be that missing puzzle piece, but I guess we can't keep them all.

Ive never seen a player as unfit as Sue. Even Lolohea with his spare tyre has got more stamina then him. One tackle or one tun and hes blowing like hes been in a marathon…

Funny that Sue gets charged for doing something that Waerea-Hargreaves gets away with every week.
Might be to our benefit though.
Except, the bloke to come in will be Lovett and that's never a good thing.

Unless he improves he might be a ISP player next year.

I didn't get to watch the game, I listened to it on the radio.

But didn't Sue make 9 metres? Isn't that 1 hit-up? And on that one hit-up, he gets into trouble for doing something illegal?

Wow.

Took back spasms into the game..in hindsight probably should not have played…

Anyhow taken the early plea..a week to rest up..

Thanks for the info as it explains a very poor display that topped off his recent sub-standard run of performances.
