@ said:Why bulk him up (at the cost of speed) to play back row when he's already a handful as is at centre? The kid still has a bit of growing to do, if that naturally pushes him to pack then fair enough, but as is he's proving an effective weapon on the edge, no need to push him further in field.

No one is talking about bulking him up. Fact is though, at 18 he's still growing and will develop more muscle over the next couple of years, so I'd find it highly unlikely that he'll maintain his weight of 106kg. He'll easily end up 110kg or more over the next couple of years going through the typical off-season training. The question will be whether he can maintain or improve his speed. If he can - fine, keep him in the centres, but looking at his frame, he's a big unit, I personally feel he'll end up in the backrow.

Once he matures and gains greater concentration, I'd say that is a logical choice!

@ said:Reckon he and Milne will make a great centre combination.
Both big strong running centres which we haven't had since I carnt remember when
@ said:He's a weapon in the making at only 18\. His post contact metres are very impressive and I'm very interested to see how he develops on the field, and in the gym over the next couple of years because I reckon his playing weight will easily end up being 110kg or more. The big question will be how much speed does he retain? I think backrow looks more likely at this stage but time will tell.
