Taane Milne (official)

Still say he will be a very good signing. Today he was he was like most of the other dragon players..not so good, but I think he is a lot better than what we have at present, or should I say has the ability to be a lot better than what we have at present

SC I want the word Potential replaced with PROVEN as the potential narrative has worn out its welcome!

I'm not writing the guy off after that game although he was poor. Packer was good though.

I would give him a chance. He has showed through previous rounds he can defend and does have a set of skills otherwise no one would of got excited when he signed with us. The dragons were hopeless in attack today so their was some obvious frustation showed. I dont condone striking the way tanne did but i dont think he deserves to have the red marker put through his name come on guys give him a chance ☺

People got excited because the club signed someone ..well another Plodder IMO not a very dynamic type that is for sure, this gives me no confidence moving forward if this is the standard the club is pursuing , as previously posted a bigger KN.

He seems very, very overrated. Marsters is a lot better.

He's a good prospect and we need to sign under the radar players with size, speed and strength. Comes down to experience and coaching. The bloke has played very few full first grade games.

Well they shouldn't be playing the same position so it doesn't really matter.

Jesus put the knives away. He wasnt great today but no worse than most who have worn our centre jerseys over the past few years and is only 22\. He can still be moulded into an attacking weapon. Judge him next year after a chance to earn his starting spot with us.

He'll be fine.

I agree, he not only has a good step and fend, but an offload as well, he is considered the best right centre at saints, they just have to many backs on contract and we were in the right place at the right time.

I saw him have a mad game when he last played 80 I thinks it's very quick to judge at this point.

Milne is only a youngster with just a handful of first grade matches. You can't expect youngsters like him to set the world on fire with blinders in every match he plays. Give him a chance to improve with first grade experience and to show his real ability. After all the club gave Mitchell Moses a continuous run of two years in first grade just to prove himself.

I don't see him a youngster his NRL ready.

He may be ready physically, takes a while to get there between the ears

the try he let in was horrible.. how do you not make it back when they're a metre from the try line, lack of communication and he even got in sims' way.

Centre makes a big call in the defensive line on the edge and i'm not sure he's ready for that yet.

This is what I mean…experience/between the ears...you dont get it straight away, hes had a dozen or so games, hopefully he learns from that mistake, it will come up in the vid session and his coach will work him thru it
people expect young guys to debut and know it all within a few weeks, it doesnt work like that

The Morris try dogs first try Milne chased the kicker at marker on the 5th to put pressure. So wasn't in the centre position . Then the kick got tapped back and he found him self close to middle field and bee lined to the dog that the ball was tapped back to. Unfortunately did not get to him in time they got a few passes away and hoppa ran straight threw the centres.
