Taane Milne

We will be in big trouble if current centres go down.

You guys are saying the best we have got are Lawrence, McQueen, Chee Kam, and Garner.

All forwards and one already (Marsters) in one of the positions.

Think we need to start looking big time!!!!

I don't know how long it's going to take for people to realise Marsters is developing into a top line centre…

Chee-Kam would be my next in line or you could shift MWZ in there..

I'm sure though Cleary has identified the position as one we need to strengthen ..trouble is it has become a position that there is a lack of depth throughout the NRL as far as top quality goes...

I would target BJ from the Raiders...

Yeah but is he keeping the seat warm for a inevitable move to second row?

Wests Tigers have today announced the termination of Taane Milne from the club.

Milne has had a second contravention under the NRL’s Illicit Drugs Policy, the first contravention occurring at another club and this second infringement occurring at Wests Tigers.

After due process and full consideration, and in collaboration with the NRL’s Illicit Drug Policy guidelines, the club has made the decision to terminate Milne’s playing contract.

His behaviour contradicts the values, behaviours and culture being created at the club.

Wests Tigers have committed to providing Milne with support and counselling during this challenging time.

These young men need less money and more guidance. Another promising player throwing their career away. It's a positive that the club has moved quickly and decisively.

Does anyone know if he now counts as one of our top 30 for the rest of the season?
Can we replace him? Do we have to? Are we penalised by doing so?

Good ol Kev has been kissed on the butt by a rainbow - two contacts terminated this year, both centres. Kev becoming the Steve Bradbury of centres!!

The statement is his contract was TERMINATED what this means ? surely the club now has an extra place to fill and probably a small payout .

Well that explains Willows cryptic comment the other day. Obviously a few here were in the know.

So the two centres many tipped as our starters in the off season have been sacked. Glad the club is setting a strong culture to aim for success.

Badly need to pick up a centre now.

Wow that's really sad! At the start of the year I think a lot of people had Milne & Suli pencilled in as our main centres, with Marsters possibly playing from the bench for impact in the pack rotation! Now both of these guys are goooone and Marsters is killing it at centre. Strange how things work out.

Reward for effort for Kev also - he may not be the best centre in the game, but there is no questioning his effort on the field and commitment to this team.
