Could be that the club has named him at #22 to protect the kid from media talk during the week.
He is very, very young after all.

Would probably have preferred he stayed in Cup for a while. Needs to get used to playing grown men and the increased speed of the game. Particularly playing in the middle.

Fairly uncommon for a hooker to debut that young, usually outside backs or the bigger forwards that matured earlier.

Wishing him the best of luck, I really hope he kills it the way he has in the juniors!

Correction, I'm not 100% as there were reports last year it might be getting changed to June 30.

It's either June 30 or first Monday in August.
