Tallyn Da Silva #270

There’s a long list of reasons why I think it’s stupid for grown adults to follow players on social media, and this is one of the reasons. The days and weeks that will go into the meaning of this rubbish. Just like when Luai and Turuva did their thing.
In my defence I only started following them after the Galvin saga kicked off with Turuva

I wanted to interpret it first hand

I'm going to take the opportunity to say I dont know why anyone follows anybody they dont know on social media. I'm not on any of the platforms, I dont want to be and I dont give a flying what any footballer thinks or says.
You are my sprit animal

Fans and players dont align the same when it comes to supporting club and/or player. Players have relationships with each other fans only have an emotional connection to the clubs they follow. For players a club is like an employer a mate is a mate what ever jersey he wears.
This is a fact. I lose track of how many times someone will say player X should do this or that in a way that will benefit our club, purely because you can tell the supporter wants it so badly. And that clouds judgement, and has you looking at a situation through rose coloured glasses. We have emotion and years and years of being connected to the club. To a player, it’s their career and livelihood. It’s not as simplistic.

Yep...you only have to look at full time after most games and theres players from the losing team laughing joking around with old mates on the winning team

I think to win a comp or have sustained success the playing group needs to have an appreciation for the club and the jersey, but mateship is no doubt huge.

he is on the outer guys. more likely to see him at belmore than on our TLT barring injuries.
Yeah something is not right. He played his part in the first 10 rounds, had one bad game against Melbourne and has been dubbed for a 28 year old journeymen (Hope), and moved from #14 to #22. Clearly there is something happening here.

His footy development requires minutes. I think it’s probably nothing more than that. Api is too important to our FG results.
I’d say they are wanting Da Silva to play a fed full games in NSW Cup as part of his development.
When talking about Api playing 80mins for our NRL team, o ask why do we continue to do this when the Panthers only saw him as a 40-50min player 3 years ago ?
