Yeah you can make judgements about someone’s whole career based on 10 minutes of football but I think it normally needs more then that.

I judge him against the benchmark he set when he gave the club an ultimatium to punt the club captain, premiership winner and state of origin player.

I guess I could romanticise because he was a junior and fantisize about what he could become - instead I choose to judge it based on actual performances in the NRL.

A kid very early in his NRL career, at a new club in an extremely tense situation. Moses being probably the best half in the comp right now, an origin and australian rep. I can absolutely see how a blasting could of been a distraction for TDS.

How would you go in your workplace if a very senior person blasted you in front of clients, customers, whoever. Reckon it would put you off your game?

I think calling him a fkn C* is probably a bit over the top and way beyond what I would call a justified spray...I played the game for a number of years and never heard anyone give a spray like that. There is something else going on there with TDS. Moses might win them games, however he will never win them a premiership.

When I was playing , calling someone a "fkn cnt" was pretty common. "Why'd you do that you useless cnt"... No one lost sleep over it . Maybe it's a generational thing...

But you could be right and there's more to it, I wouldn't have a clue.

Especially when the abuse, and that is what it was, is coming from a guy that literally tanked on his team-mates.

Just look what surrounds the younger generation now, pods, vlogs and influencers, so if you C up on the footy field all the feel-good stuff comes out instead of been filthy at the mistake.

Hence everybody shocked at Moses's reaction maybe he's been hanging around Benny Elias too much at in laws BBQ's and the snide side has been rubbing off.

However, its hard to argue against, that it would of been best if Api didn’t want an extension and TDS take over in 2027?

Like it or not Mitch Moses is the Alpha

Munster is an alpha. Jahrome Hughes is an alpha. Dearden has become an alpha of sorts. Nathan Cleary is full of alpha moments.

Mitchell Moses is a whiny little dog, who can also play footy.

Giving your team-mates one spray, perhaps is forgivable, but the cameras are on you and you keep spraying the same kid - not going to end well. If the player is a psychopath then maybe they don't care, but the only thing it will do for a normal player is cause trouble because of the stress and the fear of the next time it might happen.

As other people have said, also absolutely no acknowledgement from Moses that he did things like this all the time when he started, at Tigers and Eels. Was, at one point, the most non-clutch player going around. We won't forget that shambles at Leichhardt where he missed about 20 FG attempts and Storm got home.

I heard some highlights of Brandy and Vossy on SEN this morning and they were supportive of the spray...

So yeah it obviously has ppl divided.

That is the point of a forum. The point im making is its easy to write off a kid based on 5 high pressure minutes from the sidelines.

Personally, I dont see TDS being at the standard we need come 2027. Maybe in 2028? But he's more than a year away, in my opinion.

Harry Grant was 22 when he took over from cam smith and I don't think TDS is as good as Harry.

Looking at his performance last night, he's not yet at the level to be a starting hooker. I hate to say it, but if the rumours are true, maybe Bateman was right about how these kids were incorrectly put on a pedestal. He would have been much better here under Api.

We need to do a lot better at managing the egos of these kids - that's on Benji, the coaching staff, and improving our depth signings.
