Taupau to NFL?

See ya later Marty thanks for the highlights package that lasts all of 10 seconds…

The guy is disillusioned if he thinks its child's play.

Let him go , he's nowhere near as good as he thinks he is for 20 minutes per game, need 80 minute players next year

I rate the guy however I do feel that his ego has unfortunately clouded his judgement. His lack of respect for his current club is astounding

He's got a power game suited for the NFL but I seriously doubt he has the football smarts about him to cut it over in the US.

There a million other Taupau's in the States trying to break into the NFL. Good luck to him if he try's but he is not the athlete Hayne is. I also doubt he has the same passion and commitment as well.

Million to one that he would even get a look in. Stick to a game you can dominate in Marty.

Where have I heard that sort of pessimism before?
Oh that's right…when Hayne went over there.

The thing is he does not really dominate in our game for mine, unlike Hayne who was on another page to just about all other players. Marty goes a lot better in attack than defence and particularly when concentrated on the left to use his right arm fend (Haynes best palm arm as well), so a game that separates the disciplines may give him some remote chance of a shot, but I can't see it.

Hayne and Taupau - two very different types of players. Hayne has balance, footwork, vision. Taupau has strength and guts. There are relatively few Haynes, there are a stack of Taupaus already in the NFL.

If your heart is not in it for the WT, which im starting to think it's not. Then move on my friend.
I really think his ego has got the better of him. Should go back to basics of running hard And quick play the balls. Just wants to palm everyone of now, looks great but teams have targeted that.

Not at all. The vast majority said good on him for having a go but he'll be back next year. Commentators and fans alike thought he'd fail originally.
