OFFICIAL Taylan "Tiny" May #301

Lets hope he's stays on track.
Hopefully with some maturity , playing with his older brother and some professional help he will.
He needs to keep taking medication, the issue is you start taking meds start feeling better and think you no longer need them. If he stops taking them he will descend back into psychosis.

I predict we sign him for 2 years to align with Terell's contract. Unless we can get Terell to extend at the same time and maybe 3 - 4 year deals for both. At the end of the day if Taylan drops his bundle than the normal clauses in a NRL contract around player conduct should protect us.

💯
Ive found the real test for people battling mental health issues is how they deal with new trauma e.g. a family member dies, relationship breakdown etc..

With the culture the tigers have built around family and the players all buying in to Benji's long term plan, I think he's in the best place possible should he be faced with new trauma in the near future...

Gotta admit that I wasn't too keen on this signing. I thought it would be like a Jackson Hastings type signing with a lot of hype to it without substance.

He's proven me wrong so far. He has a good work ethic and Luai/ Terrel will keep Taylan honest off the field.

Hope this works out. He's a weapon.
Now that I think about it, when he was playing average at Penrith there was a lot of drama in his life. He had a court case pending if I recall. Seems like he is in a better space mentally. He looked in the zone on Sunday.
