Drinkwater will not play NRL unless there is an injury to one of the halves.

Taylor will persist with his top 17 until they can improve their defence.

Only injury will open the door for state cup players.

Salary cap restricts him too

I disagree completely. I think it showed Taylor for what he is; stubborn and blinkered.

How the hell is HE going to teach this group to "toughen up" , …. a phrase he used repeatedly in that interview?

HE needs to "toughen up" and accept that criticism goes with the territory of being an NRL coach where 9000 people pay to be members and sponsors tip in thousands of $$.

What in the world prompted him to think that calling into Triple M would do anything to build confidence of members and fans in coaching this team?

Could you imagine Bennett or Robinson or Toovey or Maguire doing that......????

I am m ore concerned than ever now. To me, it showed a fundamental flaw in his character to even think about doing that.

If he didn't have WT executive approval to do request that interview, he needs to be stood down...IMMEDIATELY!
