Ok so having listened to it i now understand why the team looks defeated and as flat as it ever has.

I'm getting tied of the excuses, even if there is some relevance in them.

Well every game that we have really been pumped has been when Woods etc are off the field. We complain because he keep them off too long but how are Lodge, Ava, Buchanan going to get better if they get 20 minutes a game?
Tbh I am seeing his point because those three in particular had arguably their best games for us on the weekend when we needed them to. We didn't lose that game due to our usual issues.

I'm actually quite concerned with him calling in like that, it comes across as extremely thin-skinned (as much as he tried to be 'open'), a criticism which I've heard labelled at him a couple of times.
I was concerned with a few things he said as well - firstly on Moses. While he defended him about his defence, he also said at one point "there's nobody better to replace him with in the club", which is a completely unacceptable thing to say about a young player publicly. Whether it is true or not is irrelevant, can you imagine what Moses is thinking of his coach's confidence in him when he hears this broadcast?
In addition to that, I simply can't agree with his proposition that you have to let your attack suffer to work on your defence. The fact is that you can spend every waking moment on your defence, but if you don't score a solitary point you can't win games. The three successful seasons this club has had have actually been a result of a positive defensive attitude rather than because of our attack. Take a look at Souths for example, they could always score points before Maguire got there, but he got their defence sorted without adversely impacting their attack and now they're a premiership threat every year.
I worry that Taylor is too stubborn to see or admit that his plan may not be working, considering two of our best assets long term (Brooks and Moses) have gone backwards as overall players since he took over. Their attack has gone way back, and their defence hasn't improved really, and if he as a coach stagnates their growth as players, the club will lose in the long term.

I havent been a member every year, though I dont get games packages as I usually get gifted player passes that get me access to every park except major events and finals. Would probably have you for total membership payed for, though not running, and asking the Mrs she never remembered getting the packages this year.
That said, I dont not buy them out of protest either.
People need to be patient. Whether you want the coach sacked after round 11 or not, nothing you say or do will affect what happens with Wests Tigers…
This season should be viewed as a great opportunity for a young team to get better. Highly recommend adopting the same view, not only is it realistic it makes it much easier to deal with poor performances.
Sorry to say tigers won't be competing for a premiership this year, but everybody should already know that. It's clear that what they are now doing is bettering themselves for the years to come. I'm looking forward to next year and beyond and am prepared to give Jason Taylor the term of his contract to prove himself right

sometimes the hardest thing is to face reality we have a 5/8 that cant tackle and limited in attacking
options ,,,,, not his fault rush to early into first grade . we have no chip chase game, no 2nd phase play
no off loads and no kicking in behind the line play this all comes back to very poor coaching .
i will not be going to the next home game ( 5/june ) as a form of protest ,i wonder if the modern day player really known the history of these two great foundation clubs …. show some pride boys

The team of kids took steps forward under Potter, in both attack and defence, and personality things aside we decided to just wipe that all away and take steps backwards for no good reason. Getting rid of Potter is fine, but we didn't need to take steps back, we needed a coach like Nathan Brown who could continue Potter's progress, not one who wanted to create their own boys club, as Taylor as done.
