Taylor / Farah

All I see is most people discussing and giving their opinions on a pertinent topic to the Wests Tigers…It's not going to go away whether people like it or not..

We shut the Farah Thread and all it did was began to leak into other threads on the forum .....If it had remained open it could have been contained in 1 thread...instead new threads gets started ....should we close all those down as well...we close this one another will appear....How about we only start threads where everyone agrees and we can all live in the land of fairies and unicorns and sing kombayah...defeats the purpose of a discussion board tho...

It's pretty simple ..if people debate the topic/post and not the poster there is no reason to close any thread...if they want to continue to bait bag or abuse other posters for their opinion they'll find themselves on mod-preview or a permanent vacation and find another forum to post on....

Couldn't agree more Geo.

People know that something has happened during the week in relation with the Farah and JT saga. People are commenting and making there feelings known about recent events which that is what a Forum is designed for i guess.
People who keep saying the same thing….not another 300 odd pages is getting long in the tooth.
Just don't open the Thread it seriously not that hard.

We might aswell close the Forum in the off Season then :unamused:

There have been pages and pages of debate on this topic. While it was being played out, many posters who backed JT to get rid of Robbie based their argument on the fact that the club was bigger than one player and if the club wanted Robbie gone we should support the decision.

W-e-l-l the club made its decision, Robbie stayed, JT apologised and we move on. Same as if Robbie was forced to leave.

I don't get the continued vitriole. The club made its decision and we continue to support the club.

Well said, though unfortunately the petty gossip queens thrive in these type of scenarios.

Maybe they meant that we should support the club , as long as it's decisions agreed with theirs.

The problem is the club has handed the power back to Farah , the same person who has run the club for how many years now

If people really knew what he gets up to behind the scenes ….......

Well go on, illuminate us.

Well for starters Farah is currently harassing a player who is looking at changing player managers

Who's the players manager ??????? And isn't harassing same as BULLYING!!??

Heard on The radio today Taylor says sorry to Farah infront of all the players , I was thinking this is a major G up did any one else hear it , had his donkey manager on after it saying it's all good we are past it now and Robbie will move on and looking forward to next season
Can't beleive this stuff

Donkey manager you may call him but I betcha he will be a magnet for players in the future, he will have a full stable for sure.

He already has BBF. He's a very smart operator.

Not another 300 pages of this crap please.

It's over. Let's move on. No one won and no one lost. Some bad publicity, so what? It goes to every club.

Renew your membership or don't. Just shut up about it.

Bravo Col. Can't agree more.

Was it an apology a) to Farah for trying to move him on, or b) an apology for the way it was handled and played out?

If it was a) then Taylor should retrieve his balls from his wife's purse and start filling out his unemployment benefits application form.

If it was b), then that is somewhat (sorta, kinda) understandable, as the whole scenario made the club and everyone associated with it look like crap.

Either way, time for everyone to move on and look towards 2016.

well summarised. what a joke. tell a player to move on and he wants the coach to apologise?

just so bloody pathetic.

Where did the story that "JT apologised to Farah,". change to "Farah wanted the Coach to apologise"
Hasn't taken long for the story to be rewritten to suit the anti Farah brigade.
Seems like the kiddies are really throwing a tantrum because this hasn't ended the way that they wanted.
Well this looks like the way that the season is going to at least start, so can we have a bit less Farah bashing at least up until the season starts. .

It's not easy hearing a SORRY coming out of Jason Taylors mouth. It's called a Man in desperation mode in saving his Career, a Coach that never was.
Like I have always said it's only a matter of time for him and thoughts haven't changed.
Tried to take the focus of his Coaching for the year and tried to turn the attention on Farah….that he was the absolute problem in all this.

Also FT, it was interesting to hear Woodsy say that "If Robbie left, he would've been filthy and so would other players. They obviously like and respect their former captain.

Taylor did that to kill the constant rubbish around the topic and bad press around the club.

Do you think his answer would be the same if they asked can you ensure Tedesco would be fullback? Jason can you ensure Aaron Woods will be your starting prop?

Yes it would be. Your taking a regulation quote and trying to make more drama out of it.

Typical.

I love to see a Drama Queen free zone… Please :sunglasses:

Footy talk TM

Being politically correct

Can you imagine the ruckus if Woods at the presso bags out Farah

I don't proclaim to know the in's and out's Happy. I just hope that JT and Robbie continue to communicate and sort out their differences and that we can move on from this fiasco and focus on the season ahead.
Here's to a better 2016 season.

Yes, they meant exactly that, but you and others can't have it both ways. In reality the club has only made one decision, with that being to part ways with Farah if possible.

Though no other club really wanted him and/or he rightly refused to leave, and despite Taylor apologising for whatever, the club's position remains the same, with the exit door wide open and a collective boot waiting to kick him out.

well the club severely miscalculated that one of their most dedicated players - whom continued to play when injured - that it was only about money for him. For some of the less active players on the field maybe it was the cash but not for the Capt. His manager realised this and backed away telling him. Plus course he had most fans, other players and coaches and commentators on board.

Now the WT membership has crashed they have finally woke up to what they have caused. Yes, Robbie could have walked way but then why should any player in the future put their body and soul for the Club?

Put simply you don't get rid of the guy making the most tackles;
whom can also launch an attack;
plus great kicker in play;
back up goal kicker;
can give the ref a spray;
and defend himself with honour as well.

Idk, but if Farah commanded the respect some claim, don't you think any player who was offered the C would reject it out of respect and based on how he's been treated? Especially with Farah still at the club.
