And the comment from Woods in the link I posted about the misconception that Farah is difficult to get along with. Seems some of the truth is coming out Happy but don't let that stop you.

Great, so now that we're taking players comments at face value, we can agree all the players that have publicly backed the coach have been genuine. Fantastic.[/quote

If woods had said anything tht bagged Farah, he'd be hailed As a true blue Tiger
And his comments would be Gospel.
It's over guys, stop crying.

Haha another Farah story, so that means its time for GCT to come out of the woodwork. You never seem to post in any thread that isn't Farah related

Not crying at all, just highlighting a bit of hypocrisy, just like you did earlier. Whats good for the goose, or so the saying goes.

SO Aaron Woods ourt new Captain comes out and says how much the group love having Robbie around. In fact most senior and younger players have said this. He said they would have been filthy to lose him.

However some of our fans continue slandering him with rumour and rubbish. Oh if you knew what he got up top behind the scenes.

Please….

Ill take Woodsies words over that rubbish.

well if you meant that in the context of

"I would have been filthy," Woods said had Farah left. "I would have hated to have played against him. He is such a good player and he knows how all the boys play here. He can be a coach when he retires.

"A lot of the boys would have beeline n filthy too. We don't have to worry about that any more, we are happy he is staying."

I am not sure of what you mean

Its pretty simple.
There's Farah (guaranteed a starting spot)… And there's the rest of the team (fighting for spots)
Doesn't augur well for a healthy culture.
More of the same crap

Taylor did that to kill the constant rubbish around the topic and bad press around the club.

Do you think his answer would be the same if they asked can you ensure Tedesco would be fullback? Jason can you ensure Aaron Woods will be your starting prop?

Yes it would be. Your taking a regulation quote and trying to make more drama out of it.

Typical.

I was meaning in relation with Farah and like I said he handled it very poorly that interview on the 2nd Day of pre-season where the media nailed him. Before then we had no CEO, the Club went quite and that is where the problem lied, they allowed the situation get out of hand by going quiet for so long.

Farah only confirmed that an apology took place, he didn't go into details and said no further comment, so in a way his protecting JT by not embarrassing the bloke with details of what happened.

Still not sure how that constitutes a Media Ban…Club wasn't the party that needed to play it out in the Media...

There have been pages and pages of debate on this topic. While it was being played out, many posters who backed JT to get rid of Robbie based their argument on the fact that the club was bigger than one player and if the club wanted Robbie gone we should support the decision.

W-e-l-l the club made its decision, Robbie stayed, JT apologised and we move on. Same as if Robbie was forced to leave.

I don't get the continued vitriole. The club made its decision and we continue to support the club.

If you think its going to be rainbows and lollipops from now on you're in denial. There's no way they can work together, one has to go. Farah's clearly not, so that leaves Taylor. Its not like he has control over the side anyway. People saying its over don't seem to understand the moment we're struggling next yr, which is inevitable, the media will drag this up again.

I don't think it will be rainbows and lollipops and there will continue to be angst behind the scenes no doubt. To my mind the ball is back in JT''s court and to his credit he has come out relatively positively by stating the Robbie will start in the run on team next year.

With all the media furore and the removal of the captaincy burden, I reckon Robbie will be ready to play and he will recapture some past form.

We can but now wait to see what happens.

FWIW - I think JT had the right to ask Farah to move on. His handling of it was in the very least amateurish.

Very rare that someone who hasn't been a fan of JT throughout this saga will admit he at least had the right to tell Farah he could leave. I actually feel that way about Farah. He had a right to stay, but the way he carried it out did severe damage to his reputation.

Yep agree your take on Farah. I think it may come back to haunt him in the years ahead post his playing career. Whether coaching, media or administration. It's going to follow him.

Farah is not the only player with a guaranteed starting spot in round 1 - Tedesco, Woods, Moses Brooks and probably a few others are all certain starters its just that the question wasnt asked about them.

This is what kills me. Its not one sided. JT didn't handle it well either.

Tedesco , Nofo , Simona , Moses , Woods , Halatau , Lawrence , Sue , Sironen , Farah , Ava , Cherrington are certain starters in our 17 . Brooks not considered as he's suspended , hardly fighting for spots dilemma .

No one is saying he did, but he wasn't the one who had his manager playing it out in the media, dragging the club through the mud.

But this is old ground.

This is a club in CRISIS and it will all boil over next season , the players run this club have done for years as the quotes in the papers today reveal ..our new captain has said as much ! My advice to Taylor get out while you still have some dignity left as you have no respect left at this club .

:roll , keep convincing yourself.

We have gone through this before , both parties played there part .

Farah didn't want to go and felt he had a right to stay and fight for his position as he still had a Contract ( his choice ) . Things got nasty and it was Tit for Tat , Farah got the support from a lot of people and Laurie Daley made JT look sillier by saying that he would still pick him from Reserve Grade .
Obviously for Jason Taylor to apologise and stick him in the Leadership group is admitting defeat , no one should ever apologise for something they believe in . If he had the backing of the Board there is nothing to apologise and leave him out of your 17.
Funny how we haven't got a Membership count on our Website mmhhh!!!!

Well said, though unfortunately the petty gossip queens thrive in these type of scenarios.
