Te Maire Martin

I think he would be great was one of our stand jnrs.

"But Woods still hasn't signed with the Bulldogs and if he has a change of heart, the club is likely to put his offer back on the table if they haven't filled his position."

This was also an interesting comment at the end of the article.

Gonna end up with 7 five eights for 2018 at this rate. Also the 700k price tag for matualino is waaaay off lol. Where do they pull these figures from?

Just like Taylor had a thing for hookers.

Maybe that was one of his downfalls…..paying too much attention to hookers bahahaha

we need someone tougher, can't afford to have brooks and TMM in the same defensive line.

he "could" become a superstar and so "could" brooks, McIllwrick or Liddle. Can't have so many potentials in our spine anymore.

Yeah sweet news but what's doing with Reynolds?

We could be just putting a huge offer for Reynolds to make the Bulldogs pay more to keep him.

If we can get our forward pack right this won't be as much of an issue

It's not that far fetched when you consider the fact Penrith are more than likely going to have to offload players at the end of the season.

And they are saying cartwright will be the 5/8 moving forward.

In one game we seen that brooks fall away from form can be linked to JT giving the reigns to moses. It was so obvious mcwillrick was told to find brooks and give him the ball. Even his defence was great. Thats why i think martin will work. Has alot more heart than moses and doesnt have the show pony plays that moses is famous for. Get him in. Tell brooks you run the show and we will be a much better team. Id reckon we would get him for $300-$400k much better vslue then moses or reynold at $850k.

Yes! Would love him to come back. Was absolutely filthy when we let him go.

He shouldn't be very expensive, and he's played a bit of first grade now so he won't be so green. If we get him and Brooks behind a bolstered forward pack we'll be in good stead.

He cant sign with the dogs until they move a few contracted players on in 2018\. It seems they are trying to off load tolman, kasiano, graham and eastwood. And probably still pay some of their salarys next year. I mean if we can get mautilino, TMM, and say lolohea, woods and teddy will not be such a big loss after all.

I hope the Reynolds everyone is talking about is Adam Reynolds because Josh Reynolds isn't worth $8.50\. I'd take Ryan Reynolds over Josh, at least it would increase the female supporter base.

Glad to hear that, what is the figure if you don't mind

I was told 475k x 3 years. he was only on 320k at warriors I believe

That is close enough to $700,000NZ eh bro?

Who to believe in these tumultuous times?

How can Roosters possibly sign Tedesco and be alright to keep a guy like Connor Watson on the backburner in reserves, just in case.

TMM would be a terrific addition. Here's why
1\. He would provide a partnership with Brooks that would last years to come.
2\. He would provide a much cheaper alternative to Reynolds and others
3\. He has a 90% tackle completion rate, which is very high for a half (most are in the 75%-82% range. Moses is 75% this year)
4\. Excellent running game and would allow Brooks to organise the attack.
5\. Familiar with the Tigers club and players so he should fit straight back in.

6\. He is not Josh Reynolds

Sick of reading this. As an old Balmain fan (Im sure the old Wests guys would have similar stories) it is a pleasure to have a spine full of guys with potential. I followed a team with Ben Duckworth at 6.

In 2005 our spine was Hodgson, a kid called Marshall, Prince and a kid called Farah (actually dont think Farah started at the beginning of the season).

What a burden to carry, an entire spine bristling with potential. Especially with a coach that can help them realise it. Bring it on. I would sign up today for

Mitchell
Nofoluma
Suli
Milne
Winger
TMM
Brooks
ET
McQueen/Lawrence
Sue
Matulino
Liddle/MM
Ava

Maybe the plan is to bring TMM back on little money and then have a massive crack at Cronk later in the year for a final season? I reckon he will quit rep footy and play on for 1-2 more

He would be massive for their development not to mention massive for our team

I'd love TMM back. Hope it's true. It would give us an equally talented, cheaper and better defensive version of Moses. Things like this don't happen to our club do they?

Logistically it would make sense. Given that Cleary and Pascoe were the ones to sign him at Penrith. It also seems as though Griffin would prefer to play Cartwright at 6.
I would have preferred a more experienced partner for Brooks in the halves, but Reynolds aside, there aren't too many options. Martin would be an instant upgrade on Moses and would assumedly be half the price as well too.
