The vacant wing position if there is one as they might elect to fill the centre position and push Nagamia back to the wing will go to either Rankin or Hunt, JAC will miss out because they need a goal kicker. Of course Taylor might have a rethink on Moses being our number one kicker.

That is also one thing to come out of last night, we might get burnt in 2016 without a 80% goal kicker. A team like ours just can not afford to be scoring four point trys and missing out on the extra two points.

Great passing to create space for the first 3 tries by Littlejohn and Brooks.

Was that Josh A who came charging into rhe scuffle looking to be an enforcer?

Hunt looked very sharp indeed. You can see he played juniors in the halves.

Just want to say my thanks to Mac and Tiger for the ongoing match reports. Appreciated your efforts - Would have been snookered without them. Champions.

Highlights were interesting - although very quick. Want to make sure who was who before saying too much.

Nice to see Liolevave more involved, Nofoaluma made a few strong tackles, Brooks looks good. Nice offload from Lovett, hopefully hw will be able to contribute more in attack. Goal kicking may be an issue, Rankin/Hunt or Moses should be able to at least match Richards goal kicking % :slight_smile:
There were some holes in defense, in the middle Griffin/Lovett ? and on the left side, hopefully we will improve with addition of Woods, Lawrence, Sironen, Sue, Seumanufagai and Simona.

Based on those highlights Noffa, Brooks and Littlejohn were very impressive. Great ball from the latter for the first try of the game.

I also thought Liolevave was running a good line and as others have said it is probably how Curtis will be used throughout the year.

Swap Simona and naiqama and I could handle seeing that 5 to start with, Simona would be wasted on the wing

I agree Simona is a better centre than a winger but I think naiqama is pretty poor on the wing. So the question is which way is the better trade off? What you lose when you put naiqama from
centre to wing is much more than when you put Simona to wing imo

2\. JAC - he is lightning quick and that wins games. At least give him a chance.

5\. Nofo

Apart from JAC I reckon the rest of the backline are shoe-ins.

Our weakest positions, 2nd row should be greatly improved by Liolevave, Griffin, Edwards, Aloiai,McConnachie keeping Lawrence and Sironen on their toes.
Sue at lock, now has competition with Cassel and Parahi.
We can only hope we will not play favorites/boys club. :frowning:

One of my biggest hates about us. We are just soft when it comes to this. Need a complete attitude overhaul to things like this.
