Ted has put in a 5/10 season for us this year at best. Last night was a 4\. Im sick of the sight of the clown. One more game and we are done with this self centered, entitled jerkoff.

He's been better than that. You are clearly judging him harshly because you're a petulant toss behaving like a jilted ex lover.

Haha jilted ex lover…just like Geo said to someone else. Ive read some of your stuff. Not one original though ever. Glad to see that trend continuing. Ted has been average this year and below par Friday. Get out of his bed and look at the game objectively.

Teddy certainly hasn't lost all goodwill from our supporters. We forget that the forum is a tiny number compared to the overall number of Wests Tigers supporters our there in the real world.
And he he hasn't lost goodwill from everybody here.
Just because we're on a forum here doesn't make our opinion worth more than all the rest of those supporters.
Most people that I know and talk to , have no problem with him going to a club that will make his job easier on the field, despite being disappointed that we are losing him. Some think that he should have left when he first had the chance.
Only a couple of those that I know are spitting the dummy , and think that he owes us the world,

You hate this club more than anyone ive ever met. Classic troll.

You've got to stop taking those angry pills. They're not helping your outlook at all
But thanks for your thoughtful answer.
What parts of what I posted was wrong?

On one hand people argue 'yes it is good that we do not put all our eggs in one basket' e.g. Tedesco, Woods, Moses, but on the other hand they say 'when will we sign marquee players', please explain :brick:

The problem that we've had is signing dud marquee players. We've been paying Woods as a marquee player. I mean that is crazy stuff. Moses and Brooks as well. I can understand Tedesco being paid as a marquee player but that is pushing it and he is the most disloyal player that has ever played NRL.

How is Tedesco disloyal

He back flipped in 2013 because he wanted to stay at the Tigers.

It may be disappointing that he is leaving but I don't blame him for taking the higher offer. You'd be dumb if you didn't take the higher offer from a premiership heavyweight.

Maybe disloyal is the incorrect term. Maybe just someone with no honour at all, and not someone you would want to rely on with your life.
I can't believe that you would see breaking a contract and your word (even if it was to stay with us) as something that can have a positive spin put on it.

He didn't break a contract . He invoked a clause in the contract that gave time to rethink , and changed his mind. The clause was there for that exact reason.
Happens a lot in all fields.

The registration loophole in the NRL rules was not a standard contract or fair by any means and has therefore been closed. Ten day cooling off period, well that is a reasonable clause that by law is placed in most contracts and a completely different matter to the former anomaly.

He broke his word with the Raiders.
I don't know when breaking your word became the norm, probably a generational thing, but if I tell someone in business and in life, that I'll do something, I do it.

I guess we are different though, as you seem to agree with it in general

Its not about being right or wrong. You always blame the club and absolve the players. Ill let you in on a secret…the players are every bit as much at fault for this year's disaster as they were for all failed campaigns since 2011.

Cmon Cq clubs are breaking contracts all the time players have just caught up.You cant drag players over the coals without holding clubs contract deallings accountable for the current climate.

I repeat , he did NOT break a contract !!
There was a clause where he had the right to reconsider what he would do. Signed by both parties. ( as all contracts did then).
He had every right to change his mind, you can think whatever you like Stryker ,call it
what you like, but your accusation is Legally and morally wrong.
But as you're twisted dislike of him won't change, your own version of events will live on in your head, even though it's fantasy.

Sorry?
Contracts are always paid out, in full.
Farah was staying here, in reserve grade maybe because he had a contract. His choice in the end when he went to Souths.

The Bulldog contract dramas - tell me Telltails, which players aren't going to get their full contract money?

Tedesco admitted that he never signed a contract with the Raiders but he did verbally agree to going there. Maybe I am a dinosaur but the way I was brought up is to honour your word.

Im not talking about money. Im talking about committing to play for a club for the duration of the contract that you sign on for. And funny how clubs dont tap players on the shoulder that are in the prime of their playing career but more so toward the end of a four year deal when their value is placing a strain on the cap.You.want to treat players like commodities then dont expect loyalty in return when you want it.
Teddy and Woods have both fullfiled their contracts to our club end of story.

While I understand people with this view, I think it's very petulant.

Plenty of people hated on Benji for leaving the club but are welcoming him with great enthusiasm.

Tedesco hasn't dropped his bundle since the signing or being a complete pile of crap for us this year. If he wants to come back after he's done at the Roosters, the club would be mad to not even consider it.

You'd probably be over the moon if he did come back too.

Stryker's point holds about the same weight as his overblown and fantasised point that Tedesco has lost all good will from all supporters
And about as accurate as you expect when someonepulls a b/s fact out of the air simply to prove a point.

I definitely don't have the same amount respect for the man compared to this time last year, but unlike woods and moses, I still like Tedesco, and will follow his career at the roosters, NSW and most probably Australia in due time.
Unlike woods or moses, tedesco hasn't come out and publicly bagged the club on multiple occasions before leaving.
Hopefully he'll return in the next 5 years or so, not at the end of his career after his already given his all.
I would honestly like to see him back in black and gold, not that I can realistically see it happening anytime soon.

He actually has, publicly stating he wants to be a part of a club that can win the title on many occasions. Made comment throughout origin that was enjoying the professional approach of the Roosters crew and couldnt wait till next year. If he was putting in you could cop it but he hasnt consistently done so.
