He can single-handely change the momentum of games like he did on the weekend.

He's top 3 in regards to fullbacks in the game, no doubt about it. But lets be honest, when has he ever turned a game and been the difference in us winning? Great player, but he's never won us games when they have been on the line. Brooks has won us more games when its been in the balance than Tedesco has.

Gee I must be watching something else. No one player ever wins you a game unless he makes every tackle and scores every try, kicks goals and so on - however if you look at the player that turned games and kept us in games Teddy has been that consistently for us for his entire time in FG.
He is a special player and its unfortunate that he decided to leave because he is not easily replaced.Would have been great to build a stronger squad around him with a quality coach, however its not going to happen.

Tedesco would have been a star no matter where he was playing, he hasn't used anybody. He fulfilled his obligations, and was the one bright spot in the last few years of rubbish. The way the club and team has been while he's been here, It could be said that he became a star. "Despite" playing for us

Yes the ROI isnt terrific but since 2000 they have finished first or second at the end of the premiership rounds eight times. Thats impressive in itself but making a GF on average every three years is also satisfying.

Brisbane have only won two premierships since 2000, but still have made the finals in 15 out of 17 years (not inclusive of this year,) and outside of the premiership years, they've made at least the second week of the finals a further 9 times.

So not counting this year, in 17 years, your team has made the second week of the finals 11 times at least, third week 7 times and the grand final 3 times, and won it twice. Yeah, it's only two premierships in 17 years, but they run well deep into the finals and have a culture of sustained success. That's why Easts and Brisbane get whomever they want and we sign cast offs.

Given all the advantages the Broncos have, that is a putrid return. They should be making the prelim final literally every season.

If WT offered him $1.2 million per season and that still wasn't enough for him, how much are you proposing WT should of grovelled to his demands? $2 mill a year? We could of given him naming rights to our club I guess…......Wests Tedesco's or the James Tedesco Tigers. Jeesus Christ.

Guys the Roosters and others were aware his contract was up this year and would have been courting him for the previous 6 to 12 months especialy as he has shown mercenary traits previously. I wouldnt be surprised if the chooks got him into the game 3 origin team last year as an act of faith and a display of power. We had zero chance of keeping him.

OK, so people who are content with the fact that the club didn't let itself get bent over and rogered by Ted and his manager are just WANTING to believe monetary amounts thrown about, or get sucked in by "fluff pieces"?

If DCE is on 1 mill or more per year it is very realistic to think the NSW Origin fullback would be worth as much.
