Tedesco Replacement

Look if everything plays out the way many think it will over the next few months , the one player who I think will be on the outer will be David Mead from the Titans

Thoughts on Mead ??

No thanks. A fill in fullback at best

I'd be having a good look at Mamo ftom Newcastle. He's off contract and is going to be stuck behind Boyd waiting for the number 1 jersey to be vacated when he and Bennett decide to move on.

If Mamo is off contract, it's a no brainer. Dude will be a stud for the next 10 years. Size is his only real concern, but he's a great player.

Moses will really get much more of a chance to combine with brooks playing at fullback than he would at 5/8\. With the way our halves stick rigidly to one half of the field it would take a monumental effort for Brooks and Moses to combine.

Play him at fullback and he can chip in as he sees fit all over the pitch. We know Moses is a good talker. He's fast, can kick and chime in with a great pass.

The Tigers should relegate Hitchcox to Ron Massey immediately, and play Moses at fullback this weekend.

if we cant afford teddy do you think folau would come for less no brainer :bash

We could use the money the NRL has to lure people away from other sports to top him up

I heard we were after the under 20's fullback from sharks valentine Holmes, rated better than Milford

Yes please. Would be justice to take a sharks junior for once.

That would be priceless Westy, lets hope it's true, big wraps on the kid too, also I think Inu would be worth pursuing again before june 30,get the dogs paying most of the freight whilst we check him out at fullback.

Firstly I am distressed at the way contracts are allowed to be negotiated under current NRL rules. The West Tigers team has been disadvantaged in their plans to build a competitive team. West Tigers have nurtured Tedesco now to have him "snapped up" by the Raiders. The NRL seems unaware of the damage this process can be to a club. Other teams in the competition have third party deals such that they can nearly field an Australian talented team each week.

As for Tedesco's replacement, whoever it may be, must be allowed to settle in to the fullback position starting from the next competition game. If Tedesco is to be part of the team put him on the bench or play him in the NSW Cup for the rest of 2015\. The Club and Coach must be angry by the way they have been disadvantaged into the future. Tedesco will make his money down south, but please, not at the West Tigers team's expense.

It is hard to be critical of the Raiders though, as they are one of the clubs that does develop juniors and their stocks constantly get pillaged by other clubs.

Per 'Simon' above, give Rowe a go.

I'd like to see Mitch Brown here again in some capacity as well, if he'd come back.

I think it would be quite remarkable if Teddy is able to hold onto any form of note this season, and he'd be unlikely to play more than 8 games in NRL i reckon.

He will be heckled and booed at all home games from now til the end of the season. Won't be good for his confidence. And as often happens a players form may decline as his mind is elsewhere, despite what they say in the press.

The problem is we actually need 2 NSW Cup sides at the moment, one for Rowe and one for Moses to play fullback.

Unless he's killing it i doubt Teddy will be in the NRL come round 20.

So would I - He did a great job at fullback for us when he was thrown in there to get us out of trouble. But, he wasn't ever given a chance. Can't see it ever happening though. He looks pretty comfortable as a Bulldog - good on him.

Don't think anyone is holding this against the Raiders, we understand exactly where they are coming from.

Would be a diff scenario if Tedesco was going to Dogs or Roosters.

I don't think the Raiders players would be overly thrilled to have him coming on that sort of coin. He's restricting their ability to earn.

Nofo to fullback and Koro to the wing. Easy.

As has been said 100 times already nofo is too slow and too short to play fullback.

Also you really wanna replace someone as explosive and dynamic as Tedesco with Nofo who'll only ever be a good footballer at best.

It is accepting this sort of mediocrity that has been WT's problem for years.

Also Koro? pfft also discussed 1000 times - Koro to reggies has saved us 2 tries against us every week he's been gone.
