Yep announcing it tomorrow morning sad day

And here go the anonymous shit stirrers. Cue the hysteria …

Tedesco has said he doesn't want to leave and that he loves the club.
We have all heard Potter and Farah speaking in glowing terms about Tedesco.

If he does leave there is only one guy to blame for that and that is the guy in charge. The buck stops with Mayer. Mayer had ample time in the off season to resign Tedesco who I repeat has said he wants to stay at the club.

No way he would sign with the dogs, I think this is all BS, il believe it when I see it

I'm willing to wait and see what happens with Tedesco but geez I'm a bit nervous about this one. Absolute superstar in the making.

I said during pre season that all these young blokes (especially Tedesco, Nofo and Siro) should be locked up long term as their potential, growth and maturity as players has come in leaps and bounds.

I also said it would lessen their price tags when the poachers came in, now look what's happening!!! The other clubs are circling Teddy and he could cost a lot more than first thought.
It may well have been Tedesco's manager telling him to hold out for a better deal, but I still believe we should have been pushing harder to retain these guys before the season started.

Time for Mayer to stand up and lock these players in, the buck stops with him and I'll be one very disappointed member if we lose any of them when you compare Souths, Roosters, Manly, Dogs and other squads rosters and the money freed up from Benji, Lote, etc and us now not paying portions of Gibbs, Ellis and Heighno's contracts there should be plenty of money in the bank to secure these young stars.

Mail on the Rush hour says he's 75% sure Teddy is going to the Roosters…
I've heard Teddy was/is a Roosters fan (As a kid)
- I thought they had RTS earmarked for minis Jersey, But I hear Mini also really rated Teddy for Italy....
Nervous times, I hope we can keep these boys together!!

If we let Teddy go and any if the current crop I'm out. This will be for a couple of reasons. What's the point investing my time and money on membership if the club don't show a commitment to the future. If we get so much promise from players for them to just take the big pay packet then again, what's the point. I'm not interested in "oh who can blame them for taking big money" or "they want to win a comp" blah blah.

Stay with the club with your team mates and win a comp don't just piss off to another club.

Now I'm hopeful he will stay but the Tigers are a basket case at the moment and If he goes the flood gates will open.

Hope I'm wrong

They have been grooming RTS for 2 years now to take over from Mini they wouldn't flush that down the toilet to but Tedesco.

Are you serious… I wouldn't swap Tedesco for Slater!!
RTS aint as good as Teddy, He hasn't shone as much as Teddy playing behind a beaten pack!!

You're dreaming if you think they won't drop him in a heartbeat, They don't care for loyalty or Juniors.... They want to WIN!!
They'll do that better with Teddy than most...

It takes two to tango.
Teddys not stupid, nor ayoub.
They know what hes worth, and they know what we have.
Sometimes meeting common ground is not that simple

Really,….what can we offer him others cant?

Hope he stays, I understand if he doesnt.

I think he will

RTS will be a very very good player and has been playing some fullback with Mini on the wing at times. He's very strong and elusive and if they signed Teddy, RTS would be a great buy.

Lol okay, so far we have him having supported both the Roosters and Dogs as a kid.

You'd have to imagine that Sammy told him to remain coy if the subject of re-signing came up in the media. If he came across as sort of too desperate to stay, the Tigers might offer him less money. If he wanted a bigger offer from another club - he'd do the opposite.

http://www.weststigers.com.au/news/2014/02/26/_2014_season_launch_current_player_panel_.html.
So this is where I recall seeing Tedesco speak , he gets asked was Wests Tigers the side he supported as a youngster? he say's no that the Roosters was the side he supported and idolised Brad Fittler and tried to imitate his left foot step , the answer is on the 10:00 minute mark on the interview .
So I was mistaken that he was a Doggies fan.
Well they will free themselves up with $$$$$$ as SBW will be going back to Union at season's end .

Batboys right ,Teddy did support the Roosters growing up

Surely they have to shop either Blair or Lawrence around. if not both to accommodate him. They've got to throw the whole kitchen at him not just the sink.

Someone said this , someone else said that…..yawn.
Not one informed comment (unless the one about him announcing he's signed with the Bulldogs tomorrow comes true). :unamused:
