Go Moltzen , if you only knew how wrong you were you'd be amazed

The Tigers still owe Teddy money from 2012 and 2013

Got any hard evidence about Teddy, or you spouting drivel…

My bet is the only evidence you have heard was Anasta saying he hasnt been paid the 3rd party he was promised, and are just speculating from there...

The evidence I have is that hard that even if I took Viagra it wouldn't get any harder

This is the last time I will comment on this subject

Teddy has been offered a contract by the Tigers that he has just rejected

It was way under what he was expecting

He is owed money from 2011 and 2012

If the Tigers don't increase their contract he will leave , he is looking elsewhere

I can't comment whether he will give the Tigers the last chance to outbid any rival

As I said trust me , this info is solid

The only other time I have been this confident about info I have been given was with the Carney info and that was all on the mark as well

Mate I certainly don't think your one to go around spreading rumours with no substance, are you confident will keep him? Are we looking to come in with another offer? The more I read the more I worry, hope it all works out like the Tim Simona saga did

Watching Tedesco on sterlo tonight made me think the way he spoke that he really would like to stay but is being pushed in a different direction and he wasn't happy about it.

I am really worried all this contract talk and media his done this week will effect his game against Souths.

I actually reckon it'll go the other way. I think he'll come out tomorrow night and breathe a sigh of relief at being back where he's most comfortable and the happiness will bring out a massive psychological boost and cause him to score 12 tries.

Can we close this pointless saga of innuendo and pessimistic guesses and reopen when we actually have some confirmed contract info?

Can we all just realx we have the cap space we just have to wait it will be done. Plus how cant we have players salary do u mean the 3rd party agreement anyways we do have they cash it only a matter of time until we confirm it.

We do? Well then CRISIS AVERTED!

Do you have a source which can verify this? Or is this another one of your blindly supportive posts?

I wonder if offloading Blair while we pay half his salary for 2015 would cover the extra money that we need to offer tedesco.

I mean teams would still be willing to pay 200-300k for Blair right?

Tigers dragging the chain with Tedesco
The Wests Tigers have yet to offer James Tedesco a new deal.

http://www.news.com.au/sport/nrl/sport-confidential-knights-star-darius-boyd-is-owed-around-200000-in-thirdparty-agreements/story-fndv2kok-1226860614434

IF Wests Tigers happen to lose James Tedesco the outcry that greeted the exit of Andrew Fifita will be a mere whimper. And yet for some bizarre reason it’s taken the Tigers until last week to get serious about re-signing him. Forget Canterbury – we’re tipping Manly’s Peta Hiku is their man – the Roosters are the real danger. Tedesco became extremely close to Anthony Minichiello while playing for Italy at last year’s World Cup and succeeding his No. 1 jersey at Bondi would now be a huge thrill for the Tigers junior. Tigers CEO Grant Mayer told us he intends to try and fast-track negotiations next week.

It sounds we have 3rd party agreements but they aren't being honoured. Though that's nothing new. Gasnier & Boyd are just 2 that I know have had troubles getting their 3rd parties paying up and I dare say there are more.

What I really want to know is how Tedesco becomes super hot property after two successful rounds and a good nines tournament, even though we mostly got lapped.

If I was the Tigers I probably wouldn't have done much about Tedesco's retention until this year either, owing to the amount of time out with ACL. And let's make a frank assessment of 2013 - the jury was out on Tedesco, I remember lots of comments about him slipping over all the time (McDonnell style) and general caution re his knee.

So two games in and now there is this media stir about his future, forum supporters losing their tiny minds on all the possible permutations and whispers and suggestions and conspiracy theories.

But from a business perspective, I hear manager-driven hype. He's in red-hot form and Ayoub knows this is the time to start banging the drums. Release a few little tid-bits to the media, put the feelers out to 1 or 2 clubs, throw around the rugby concept.

All this gear with the Roosters, for example. So Minichiello and Tedesco became mates during several weeks of world cup. Umm is this not soundly defeated by 3-4+ years of mateship at the Tigers through the juniors to firsts? And RTS is just going to stay on the wing, happily.

It's all a beat-up, but it puts pressure on Tigers to do something about it, which you can guarantee they will. Last time I heard this kind of crap around Farah (Parramatta) and Woods (Manly), the re-signing news wasn't far around the corner.

Has anyone thought of who he is going to be coached by next year could also have a bearing in his decision ?
Potter is not guaranteed for the gig next year …..?
What I think will be influencing his decision is which club suits his style of play and playing behind a dominant pack as well and of course the $$$$!!!!!
I sincerely think he wants to stay but wants to be paid what his worth.

What I really want to know is Why Mayer waits until Tedesco does become super hot property before opening negotiations ?
Why not start negotiations in the off season ? What's the excuse…the weather ?

Blind Freddy could see Tedesco and Noffa for that matter are on the rise and would only get better this year...Why does our CEO have to be pushed by a players manager to start planing for next year ?

How do you know they didn't start talking in the off-season?
How do you know Tedesco / Nofoaluma did not prefer to wait until their stock had risen with more good performances?
How do you know that the CEO wasn't already on this before the manager pushed?
Why would we put offers to Tedesco after 1 average season when he still is contracted for all of 2014?

I just don't get how people forget this is a business. If a player manager starts creating some fuss, you don't drop your bundle and start throwing money around. You also don't start off with your highest offer. You don't reveal your cards, you don't tell people how much salary cap you have left, or how much your roster is on, you don't reveal your ongoing recruitment plans.

People whinge about the high salaries for Blair and saying we pay "overs" for players from other clubs, or that we've erred with long contracts like Lawrence. But then they want us to charge in with wallets open for the emerging juniors.

It's all a business and at the end of the day, Tigers will offer what we can afford and what we believe is reasonable. If Tedesco decides that is insufficient, if he is more interested in bigger pay packets or promised glories at other clubs, then to hell with him. We don't need the Te'o type mercenary around here, we've already stuck by Tedesco through tough times and don't owe him any special favours.

This is the sad reality
Gone are the days when players were loyal to one club only.

Loyalty > $$$ but not when its so commercialised. Everyone is out there looking out for themselves
