Smart signing if it eventuates. TPJ is an enforcer and will slot in nicely alongside an already impressive forward pack. In regards to him being a hothead and undisciplined we said the same about Joe O when he was signed but he has settled in nicely, pulled his head in and playing good footy.
I look forward to seeing a back row of JO, LL and TPJ. Bring it on

Not a bad pack ! That’s a pack that can lay a good foundation,especially considering how young they are.
Just need some outside backs who can defend now ?

I think that you would be surprised at how consistency may follow getting an opposing pack on the back foot.

Everyone by now agrees we are missing a class centre, and a damaging forward, he's worth the risk, there is not that much around,. Yes he is a hot head, so was Burgess, as is Hargraves, and another 6 i could name,, but we need this type of player.

I think they would be after a Sua or cheese type of player

Roosters could well manage to have TPJ, Su'a and Cheese all in their colours next year. Wouldn't surprise one bit with the monopoly money they use for their salary cap dealings.

He is a marquee signing. We've had some great ones over the years including Adam Blair and Josh Reynolds.

We need someone like TPJ though desperately. If he plays to his ability he is exactly what we need.

Can't believe anyone would be against this signing if we can pull it off. We have been screaming out for an x factor and here it is. He has all the attributes we need. Finally somebody big enough, bad enough and good enough to run the "courage" lines Ellis used to run for us. I hope we can pull it off, but believe if the Roosters are genuinely interested we are probably going to miss.
Lets hope TPJ remembers when he rang the Roosters previously and they said "no thanks"

Pretty good for the team running dead last at the moment.

Can't argue with those stats. If he comes, hope he settles into Sydney life and doesn't get caught up in any rubbish off the field.

The Roosters always boast about how cheap Morris was and how their senior players took less to stay with them....so if the narrative is correct there shouldn't be huge chunks available.
