Also… understand Pangai and Broncos decision. Tevita and his manager saw writing on wall and made first move. Broncos are trying to overhaul list and create cap space.

Charged for a crusher last night. Due to loading. 3 weeks with early plea, 4 weeks if found guilty.

Hardly worthy of that charge. It was his obliques, lats making contact, to the side of Murray’s head. With separation ‘space’ between his arms.

You're right about the Roosters thing actually, remember hearing the same around here.

RE the video - I agree with Freddy in that it was incredibly poor form for Broncos to break that in the middle of a game, so poorly handled. Disagree in him saying the comments by TPJ were poor, feel like he handled it very honestly and well - he said the players had to be made accountable and he was copping it on the chin, didn't throw any digs at anyone.

Broncos are in all sorts, on and off the field.

The thing is he would most likely improve his form at the Roosters with good team structure and good players around him. At the Tigers?...not so much and every chance he’ll end up still being average.

Yeah I know I should be more pumped about this, but I’ve seen too many of what I thought were decent players turn into plodders once they join us over the years and TPJ is already plodding with Brisbane - just ask Hobbo ?

doubt it, they have their own salary cap squeeze
they are focused on retention rather than recruitment atm

Yea but most were of the Adam Blair variety . Coming from a top club , to us , usually because they were past thier best . That’s not what’s going on here . He’s clearly thier best player , being told to go , probabbbly because of attitude issues . I’m not worried about him performing for the 90 minutes from kickoff , I’m way more worried about his garbage off the field .

Nothing to do with him not being good enough. More to do with the huge risk of signing someone on big money who has form at being a liability with his ill-discipline on-field for me.
JWH has had a great run at the Roosters of repeatedly getting off charges at the judiciary, the Roosters would be banking on producing the same 'magic' with TPJ if he signed with them instead of us.
Would be willing to bet that TPJ will spend a heap of time on the sidelines through suspension if he joins WT.

If he's watching from the sidelines it won't be much value.
If he does sign hopefully he absolutely kills it for our club for sure. There is a huge risk it could turn into a disaster signing as well. We'll see how it all plays out.

I’ve changed my opinion on this. He’s a suspension magnet, and that will wear thin once he’s playing for us. I’d steer clear.
