Say what you like about Moses Mbye, but his service in the 2nd half was far superior to Liddles and our attack looked far more crisp in the 2nd half.

1st Half - 18-10 Loss (Liddle Hooker)
2nd Half - 32 - 6 Win (Mbye Hooker)

No It was not just Mbye, but the extra seconds that Mbye gave us from his service just gave us a bit more time to be a bit more crisp. I find with Liddle we start the play slow and it goes down from there.

I liked when he went down a short blind side and killed out attack.

Almost every time we had the ball we scored. His defence is absolutely terrible and is a very dumb footballer.

Hes not an 80 minute hooker and his service isn't great. Mbyes not a long term hooker and if we were defending large periods with him at 9 we would have trouble.

Don't think it's purely a Lids thing. The modern game needs a 2nd hooker to take advantage of laziness around the ruck and to maintain crisp ball play. While Mbye didn't run, his service was good.

Don't thong it's purely a Lids thing. The modern game needs a 2nd hooker to take advantage of laziness around the ruck and to maintain crisp ball play. While Mbye didn't run, his service was good.

Agree. My preference would be to start with Simpkin and get Lids on during the tired interchange forward phase with a leash to run which is his biggest strength and something alot of other clubs don’t have.

I disagree 100% on that. His feeds from dummy half would have to be the slowest in the league. He is just a terrible dummy half.

The reason our attack was so good on the 2nd was the close to 100% completion rate. They never gave the Broncos easy ball like they did in the 1st half.

He was caught out consecutively at marker for silly mistakes which lead tk the riki break. He also killed our play down the short side. He threw 2 uncalled forward passes. He never got out of second gear.

We dominated the second half IN SPITE of Mbye. Not because of him.

For all the Mbye haters ....today showed exactly what Madge is trying to do with a talented bunch of young guys...if you have at least a little bit of NRL understanding the experience and knowledge shown by Tamou and Mbye was what won us the game...Tamou played really well today with his carries and leadership and Mbye was good at dh...
If you love AD as I do ,he started to show his hogging of the ball,once Mbye came on AD distributed the ball and gave the backs the opportunity to do something with it,this is why JTJ hasnt shown much so far...

Bag me out as much as you like its an open forum,but at least consider how much work Madge has to do to get this team playing as one as they did today...well done all round....

Benefit of having Moses type is coverage for multiple positions. So don't think you can carry a second hooker, but rather a utility that can play hooker.

Keep in mind Mybe came on as cover for Laurie.

I couldn't care less. He was terrible. Mbye isn't that bad. Reynolds honestly made more mistakes than average plays. Mbye isn't making the same mistakes he just does nothing.

Mbye: 1 six again, 2 not called forward passes and caused 2 Broncos trys. Slowest feed from dummy half ever. He is totally disinterested in in the Wests Tigers. He should never wear a Wests Tigers jumper again.

Tamou was good today and can be an effective part of a front row rotation.

He was trying to lead our defensive line, but after the first set he had to slow down because he was the only one moving up.

Mbye's defence in the 2nd half looked like someone had fed him a Rohypnol before kick off.
