Appointments such as these are the responsibility of the Manager of Football Operations (Egan) and CEO (Pascoe)..Perhaps the anger needs a re-direction..

whatever James Hooper says is generally rubbish. I remember him on the Sunday Footy Show a couple of years back saying that Mick Potter would be fired in the next 48 hours (a hugely damaging statement to make about anyone's job security) and the bloke coached for another year after that.

Rugby league 'journalists' like this bloke mostly peddle in nothing but gossip and innuendo and can't write an analytical piece that requires the use of their brain. Any positive story is filled with cliches. So if Hooper says there's been 'a bust-up' I'd hardly be too worried.

Well he is saying there has been a blow up at the club and Joe Wehbe is no longer there. Considering he is the mentor for most of these guys thats not a good thing.

I wonder was the blow up that Wehbe didn't want to be named, then Woods (I think) mentioned him - not by name - but the media figured it out in a few days.

Then again , our 4 really think that they are the "BIG FOUR", instead of the big I or 2
(at the most). And a pair of adequate ones.

Taylor is responsible for coaching the team. Taylor appointed Wehbe and he got rid of him after one week. Twist it anyway you want but that's what happened. Why or how I do not know.

We need to be very careful. The coach has to be removed from decision making at this point. People act in their own self interests when it comes to ongoing employment. If JT becomes an issue around the players resigning Egan needs to make the call now. If Taylor is getting rid of someone they respect I don't see how it's in WT best interest when they are trying to dign them.

Agree with your comments but it's obvious a decision Taylor or another coach has to do made soon. I don't think WT will have the luxury of seeeing how the season goes. TBH after Raiders, Storm, Cowboys games the outcome should be rubber stamped either way.

If JT is not the way forward for once a new coach should have a good roster, heaps of cap room and a new centre of excellence next year. They have to go hard on a coach of some stature though, no more bargain basement appointments.
