Anyway, if we keep all 4, we will end up with a crap team as they are demanding >$3.5M of the cap - for 4 players? Two of them can't tackle, can't lead the team around the park, they panic too easily and they hide regularly.

The club should never invest in potential on our juniors in future, whatever these 4 do.

I'm with you on that, i've been saying it for years here and when we lost Austin in the process they still couldn't admit that he was the better player when we retained the 2 muppets . Austin went to the Raiders and got Dally M 5/8th of the year but people will still cream themselves going off under 20 's form which has no reference to NRL footy.
Nothing wrong with signing a good prospect but we have done it overly and stupidly .
Paying Brooks and Moses $600k for this year is a Sackable offence whoever approved that.

Just so you have it right and you are not repeating the mistake for years to come.

Austin signed with the Raiders, we didn't really have a chance to produce a contract. Supposedly he wanted to get out of the city because of personal problems.

The best we could do was to have him until the end of the season - we chose to let him go straight away and let Moses have a chance to gain some NRL experience.

Whether he was better than the "Young Muppet" as you call him never came into the equation - Austin signed elsewhere and we either gave "The Muppet" a go or bought someone else for 25 cents because that is all we had. Same as Koro and JAC signed elsewhere because that is where they wanted to go.

Personally I am happy that the three of them went.

Two sides to that. It's hard sign players up when officially we don't have a coach which is obviously the clubs fault.
The other side is the club has been trying to get Brooks and Moses to sign for twelve months. I'm really thinking it's time to withdraw offers. At least be looking at a plan B.

We are easy prey and the fact we went through a youth movement to rebuild and can't sign our juniors because of ineptitude at board and coaching level is poor.
Tigers have the 5th biggest fan base and rank highly with ratings as are the Dogs, Eels and Dragons. It comes with the territory. They did it to the Sharks, Eels in recent years relentlessly.
