THE 4......THREAD

Because Moses seems to have regressed since the end of last

year. I think Brooks is the one worth persisting with now, especially with a change of coach.

Went off Moses big time last week when he reacted like a child to his own members when they jeered him after he tried yet another low percentage. When your getting paid around 600g a year and your playing busted you deserve the odd jeer. Benji copped his fair share but never reacted back

Moses is Benji MkII. Poor defence master of the 1% plays, looks brilliant when they come off which is not very often. Am waiting for the touch judge passes to come out of the repertoire

First post because I really wanted to express me view on what it seems to be happening and that is the ' Wests Tigers' will be not only losing Moses, but Tedesco and Woods…
Even with mis management etc.
These three should be ashamed of themselves, this new age players wear there loyalty in there underpants...
Even though the club has been in disarray, they have invested and lost players to build arounf this fake souls,
and once again we are left dissapointed.
If it is confirmed, I want this club to never waste money on youth but just go into the market and buy players with strong reputations.

Welcome to the forum TIGERAURA good to see you on here.I havent given up on teddy and woods i still believe we are a decent chance of keeping both.I will always want a youth policy but you do need to look externally always and we havent.

Imagine 12 months ago our supporters turning on Tedesco. Hell imagine it a month ago. Isaac Moses has damaged these kids reputations significantly among their own suppprter base.

Canberra were a development club as well…. They got jack of everyone cherry picking their best products.
WTs mantra of being a juniors club is music to other clubs ears

Events the last couple of days suggests we've finally learnt the lesson.
I hope

Moses - Says want to play in a good footy side, says that being at the bottom of the table for 3 or 4 years have taken a toll.

Teddy - Tells the board to get their act together and creates a place where players can have conficene in ability. Wants to go to a winning side that can play finals.

Woods - Our club captain stalling all pre season and acting like a buffoon in the media.

The lack of accountability is staggering?. Honestly I wouldn't lose any sleep if Woods or Teddy leave the way they keep talking. These guys have been senior players in poor sides. I wouldn't say any of them are playing great footy this year individually.

These blokes have played a huge role in our terrible season to date. Dragging this out so long and distancing themselves from the club has been borderline disgraceful. It's created an enormous distraction that has cleary affected performances. Played a role in punting coaches?. Last year it wa the same with Moses and Brooks went on for half the yer and only when they re signed did we start to hit our straps.

Now i wasn't the biggest JT fan however he gave them a rightful spray in the media tonight. These blokes are the subs senior players and they have played a large role in us not making the finals the past 4-5 years. Why couldn't they have got on with the job after finishing 9th last year and knuckled down and backed themselves to play finals here as senior players?

Woods as captain represents perfectly the way this club has been run until now. Pretty fitting really.

I'm completely okay if all of these guys go. Woods is a great captain for the titanic except he'd be off the boat first and then yell out "I think you guys are in trouble".

Very hsrd for Moses to run away to where the grass is greener when he is a bucket of Roundup.

Spot on Ink. The development club nonsense may now finally be over thanks to the way the petulant four have behaved. Its about getting the best side you can on the field to give you the best chance of a result every season. The A league parallel of the Mariners and the Jets comes to mind here.I think Cleary will be as pragmatic as he needs to be to make us competitive sooner rather than later. Like them or not , Taylor and Potter were hamstrung by lack of money. Cleary will be in a better position.

We need development but we need experience equally. We obviously lack successful experienced players which win you premierships - look at Cronulla last year as a prime example of purchasing well.

As it seems that Brooks is staying, the only other I really want to keep is Tedesco. I agree that I don't like what he is saying to the media but he would have every man and his dog in his ears at present and for a young bloke it would be hard to completely shut all that out.

Woodsy? Well, as captain I think he could have phrased his comments to the media a lot better in recent times. Would be happy for him to stay, but if he leaves so be it and we should be able to pick up a good prop to replace him.

It's a joke isn't it. These guys who have been through the development system of Balmain and Wests to become NRL 'stars' with Wests Tigers. In effect holding the club to ransom. I'm so glad this has come to a head now. Either you want to play for the club or go. The fans have had enough.
These guys knew the club has been hamstrung by the salary cap and they (should) know they are/were taking up a huge chunk of it. But just when we have a new coach and money to spend to fix deficiencies they are stalling.
As for Moses - good riddance. Never been a fan of his. He's done good stuff on the field but definitely doesn't deserve the money that's been talked about. And he can take Uncle Benny with him as well.
Teddy - he's been a favourite player in our colours and I was so glad when he turned his back on the Raiders. He seems a likeable guy and says the right things in the media. Hope he stays but if he chooses to leave then so be it. We can't just throw all the coin his way and neglect other areas. After all we play by different set of salary cap rules to the Roosters, Dogs, Broncos etc
Woods - good player but for the money talked about we can replace him. Not a leader. Shouldn't be captain of the club.
Brooks - apparently signed and if so good on him. He probably wouldn't get that money anywhere else anyway. But he seems a level headed kid (unlike Moses) and maybe the new coach can bring the best out of him. He's shown he can mix it at this level. Hopefully after all the fallout and new start with Cleary we'll see him blosssom

If they leave I'll make it my personal mission to heckle and bag the crap out of them at every chance I get at games, so fingers crossed Woods and Tedesco stay
