Kent is such an idiot.

Firstly it's I Mo$es saying he's not heard from the club. Easy to straight up lie to manipulate the situation.

Secondly Mo$es was in Townsville and then the club confirmed they met with Mo$es on Tuesday.

Thirdly you are a player manager and this is business. Earn your commission and ring them or arrange a meeting.

Fourthly how can Cleary possibly not be aware of the communications, he sees the players most every day? "Hey did Kelly speak to you today?" That easy. It is a workplace after all, what does Cleary walk around only talking training and nothing else?

Fifthly how could it be possible that Tigers have two multi million dollar franchise deals on the table, for players who come in every day, but nobody is chasing up? Just not feasible. Don't say the club is hopeless, they have people who focus on recruitment and retention. Even crap HR would put a call in every now and then.

Sixthly there have been offers to these guys for months, how much follow up do they need?

This is just manager spin plus the journos own need to drum up and prolong the story.

You are right, but the club should take Kent front on on this and put some facts out there, publicly humiliate Kent for his malicious lies.

No point trying to defame Kent he would take it as a win

Warriors came out blasting the media, the Bulldogs deny the Foran talk but nothing came of it today. No apology or anything.

jirskyr your spot on yet again. This isn't the clubs management issue its the players and their management issue. Our club should be applauded to hit this head on and pht this all out their.

Feel sorry for Cleary pressers as he will be hammered on these questions.

The players are going to come out and say that the Tigers forced their hand by placing a deadline. Mark my words they will try and turn it around on the club when there have been deals of some description available for months….

Aaron Wood$’ coffee date with Bulldogs players highlights the deep troubles at Wests Tigers
APRIL 21, 2017 5:01PM

Paul Kent
The Daily Telegraph

AARON Wood$’ appearance at a coffee shop on Wednesday with Sunday’s opponents, otherwise known as Canterbury players, underlines the deep troubles at Wests Tigers. Coach Ivan Cleary must be finally realising how deep the problems at his new club go. A small revolt is happening at the Tigers. Wood$, James Tede$co and Mitch Mo$es are gone, Tim Grant and Kevin Naiqama are considering their options and several others are also questioning their future at the club.

Wood$ and the Skinny Flat White gang highlight how deep the frustration at the Tigers is.
While Cleary was putting deadlines on players Wood$ and Tede$co, Wood$ was speaking to his manager Isaac Mo$es who told him he had not heard from the club in regard to Wood$ in almost a month.
How is this any negotiation? And so why a deadline?

Was Cleary even aware?
The Tigers might have a plausible explanation for this but their refusal to communicate it is deeply damaging the club and adds to the reputation of dysfunction that is developing. There is a smell on the Tigers. Who would want to play there? There is more at stake than playing talent now. From the outside looking in the Tigers appear a troubled club. Once that assessment becomes popular opinion around the league it will become increasingly harder to recruit players. And the club is already clearly having problems.

Generally the only way clubs get their way out of trouble once in this situation is to go into the market hard and pay overs. Either to one player, who hopefully others want to play alongside and so will help bring talent, or a group of players, which is highly expensive. Enter Cooper Cronk, with Gareth Widdop as his sidekick. The club has no other option.

What a garbage article from Kent .
He never mentioned that the offers had been in the table for months .

As for Grant and Naiqama , they wouldn't get a look in at my local club to play A Grade .
They're luck they've got a gig at all :brick:

When reprinting a professional journalist's article it is very bad form to change those "s" in their name to $ signs. You are misrepresenting their viewpoints. I would expect they would be most upset about it. Already we are probably reprinting without permission as reprinting whole article with no substantial comment as part of the same post and we are misrepresenting what they state.

I am wondering if Woods and Tedesco have actually put pen to paper with the supposed deals with other clubs. If they haven't already, would the pulling of the contracts by the WT devalue their worth to those clubs? I mean would they now attempt to sign them on less money? If I was one of the CEOs chasing them I probably would. It would be a massive blow to the negotiating skills of Isaac Moses if that was the case.

I certainly hope that is what happens…egg on their and their managers face.....

I hope Grant and Naiqama are looking elsewhere, they're both useless. Whoever signed Grant needs to also consider leaving.

If Todd Payten had replaced JT do you think Teddy, Woods and Moses would have stayed at the club? I'm happy that IC is in charge, but I think things may have been different had TP replaced JT…in any case, we can't let the players run the club so I think, if this was the case, it is a bullet dodged.

Thoughts?

And give in the all of the weak3's demands?

What if Todd Payten did come and the players still left. I know who I'd rather have in charge of the rebuild. So you're right, BULLET DODGED

I'm glad the Club didn't allow this to happen. I'm just trying to make sense of the circus of events that have unfolded this year.

He is just as bad, if not worse than the "minuscule 3"
