The Ashes

With the intensity and desire Smith had to win. Plus three fit fast bowlers that bowl in the 140’s .The Ashes was never in doubt.
We have also one the sledging/off field stuff , which in my books equates to a Test. So early in the NY it will be 6-0

My better half has managed to score some tix to the Sydney test, day 3.
Tickets say Members day pass - Ladies Pavilion & MA Noble stand…dont seem to be reserved seats as no specific seat number.
Just wondering what the G-O is...is it first in best dressed, I wouldve thought the Ladies stand was reserved as it looks a bit posher than the other stand

Hey Ink I think that you would add a lot of class to the Ladies stand, you and your boss should have a great day.
Cheers

Seems like they will let any Tom ,Richard or Ink in the stand

Hope you and CB have a good day anyway

Starc out by the seems of it as well

If the Poms keep going backward at the same rate they have since the 1st Test it might be a gold coin donation Day 3

Haha, I won't be in the members, I'll be in gen pop in the O'Reilly stand, normally try to get square on about 15/20 rows back. Hopefully the Barmy Army are seated close to us again they were fantastic last SCG Test I went to.

Leftovers ham pork turkey..Boxing Day Test smashing Poms..Priceless…

A massive lololololololololololololo@England…

Warner OUT on 99..resumes next ball 1 no..

Felt for Bancroft. Played a proper Test openers innings, struggled for a bit and even though the runs weren't coming easily he put a high price on his wicket. I thought the commentators were being pretty harsh on him at times.

I saw nothing wrong with bodyline. It was a brilliant tactical decision decades ahead of its time.

Well done Australia. Hunting for another whitewash. Amazing win after the action of day 1\. Smith is really creating a top tier sporting legacy.

Gotta disagree Munk

A feel that it would be fairer in the modern game for Bodyline tactics to be used

We are talking 75 years ago , the protective equipment is stone age stuff compared to now

Brilliant tactics yes

Great innings by Cook. Probably saved his career. Shades of Steve Waugh at the SCG.

I think he's up there with Kallis as one of the most underrated players of all time. 8th highest run scorer of all time, 32 test centuries, 5 in Australia.
