The culture of bullying and abuse at Wests Tigers..

Go's comments about a certain player manager confirm that a certain player at west tigers removed two coaches coaches and attempted his third. Sheens, Potter and Taylor. The rumours were true. I hope I never see him at the club again.

The media release is fine just like Wiki leaks does the world favours by publishing corruption etc.
The release of a year old document is poor form and it should have been reported that it was old news.
WT can't sue as the truth is the ultimate defence to defamation. It does shed a light on the lack of compassion in the club and the desire to be perceived in a good light publicly rather than player welfare.
Its good new the club turned things around off the field but its a further illustration it takes damning reports and peoples names on the line for action to happen. We aren't the only club who would be culpable in this area.

Think about all the young men playing NRL back in the day that suffered the same thoughts. Player welfare wasn't even in the dictionary back then I assume.

Seems the culture of bullying and abuse is thriving on this forum.
Without the slightest shred of any evidence Ayoub and Farah have been blamed and degraded for the story and accompanying photo appearing on the front page of one of Australia's biggest newspapers.
Some of you would have gone well on the jury at the Salem witch trials.
The people to get annoyed with are the ones at the Sunday Telegraph who chose to print the story - I wonder how many have contacted them to complain?

**You obviously don't know what evidence is or are incapable of drawing an inference** if you do not think that Ayoub is in any way implicated. Common sense is a legitimate form of logic, I suggest you start using it.

I have no reason to stick up for Ayoub but I actually do know what evidence is - do either of you have any?
All you have is innuendo - not one fact from anywhere.
You don't like the guy so believe anything without a right of reply….

The way some people on here have *immediately* gone to Robbie bloody Farah as their get-out-of-jail excuse for anything negative about the Tigers is truly incredible. It's like Stalin's Russia. Bad harvest? Blame Trotsky. Poverty? Trotsky. Counterrevolutionary forces in the orthodox church? Trotsky.

Why are you surprised when Australia politics has gone far left.. constant media propaganda re feminism, multi culturalism, marriage rites, globalisation.. Anything said to object to the status quo ends up in ridicule and character assassination..

Even at junior football level. No more points semis or grand finals.. people are taught to be weak in the head and dare not stand up for oneself or mate or god forbid you will be written off..

Same approach at the Tigers and many other organisations.. I even see it my enterprise.. certain managers, bully, lie, undermine and even steal though that's ok as long as you are supported, the little guy doesn't stand a chance.. Hence as I've said before I'm not surprised and even more not surprised with the likes of go..

Australia is becoming more communist than the communists..

Um, have you seen who is in power in Canberra? How far right would you like us to go?

He publicly threatened to cause damage to the club with his "dirt file" less than two months ago. Marina Go has publicly stated that the leaking of the story is part of a "campaign by a player manager who vowed to cause detriment to this club if we didn't sack our coach." Add to that his long-established relationship with the Daily Telegraph. Add to that the Weidler piece with Sitalkei Akauola which was of the same flavour as this leak (with Akauola on his books and Weidler his long-term puff piece generator). Add to that his general character as evidenced by the Ryan Tandy betting scandal.

Real witch hunt. No rational basis at all for thinking he might have been involved…What are your facts? Do you actually have any alternate explanation for the leaking of the report?

Not sure how they got the report, and based on the forum the odds are its Aayoub. We all know the story was out earlier this year, but the timing is odd.

It could be that Ayoub and RF had something to do with it?

It could just be the paper decided to run article to sell papers in the off season or promote the idea of the wt - rabbits season opener?

Or

It could be the club, IMO I think our clubs response was great! Then just for giggles I thought is the response too good? They were good responses but all pointed the finger at disgruntled former players, which may be the case. But I think this is good for our club. If there is a culture problem we fix it and I think we are, but we needed something to pull the team together and push away any RF hangover.

Just some other theories seeing as though that's what we're doing, theorising?

Farahs lawyer was commissioned to prepare the report

A question has just entered by head

I wonder what Robbie's reaction was when he saw the front page of the DT with Mosese's photo sitting there ??

He would have been just as horrified as we were.

I hope so , also hope he gave his manager a mouthful as well

Marina Go has been utterly inept in dealing with this story. She should live up to her namesake and…..GO!
\
\
Mate she came out and made a very strong media release the day the story broke, what do you want from her??? The club have stuffed plenty of things up, but they have handled this very well with Go leading the way.

It's interesting how leaked information is welcomed when its content we want to hear and when it's not it becomes all about who leaked it and what was there motivation.
Quite frankly it is important for this stuff to come out because it makes clubs accountable for their operations. All damming information should be treated with the notion at sometime that it will surface - which is exactly what the club did when addressing this report.

It's all circumstantial evidence, which can be used to develop and infer guilt. Nothing wrong with that.

Yes, there is no direct evidence.

I don't know why everyone has got their knickers in a knot. The DT published a story about the report when it came out 12 months ago - they bagged Wests Tigers then over player welfare and linked it to Farahs treatment. We talked about it in the Robbie Farah mega thread around page 190 - 195\. Roll forward 12 months and wow the DT have a leaked document ( that they actually did a story on 12 months ago ) about player welfare at WT.
I thought most posters on here were reasonably intelligent and able to pick a beat up when they see it. I may have to reassess my perception of the level of that intelligence.

He publicly threatened the club months ago with airing dirty laundry, are you going to deny that?

If someone receives death threats then turns up dead a few months later in suspicious circumstances, who is going to be the main suspect?

Going by your replies you both obviously, don’t comprehend what ‘evidence’ is.
You just come back with more hearsay and conjecture.
Nelson – you ask if I have any facts?
Well, no I don’t, which is why I can’t blame someone without certainty.

GNR- being a main suspect does not necessarily make you the person who committed the crime.

Don't report for jury duty anytime soon guys.

Good to see the stupidity of Steve was easily replaced.

What happened to Steve?

I assume he was punted. He hasn't been around has he?

True. Wow I know he was persistent but didn't find anything he said offensive.
I'm not obviously sold on Taylor either - agreed with some of the things he said just can't be bothered posting as much as he does. Must have missed something.
