One thing this forum shows is that despite the dreadful performances there are a lot of people who care but so many problems covered I feel we need to prioritise
Our Problems in order The Roster,The Pack , Attacking plays , Kicking game,
&The coach
We need a half decent roster to attract more top players and the "right coach
Our Pack is so weak ,you need 8 really good forwards we have 2 or 3 with 2 coming next year and backline has no room to move behind pack that can't bend the line
Even when we get rare space our playmakers are slow and no overlaps created
Only 2 clubs have conceded over 400 pts this year that is Titans and Warriors and we didn't score even a single try in 160 mins of football against them
The good sides have attacking plays and when they don't score their kicking game gets them repeat sets to go again .We rarely get repeat sets
Fix all above and 2 things happen Top coaches want the job and coaching mainly involves creating harmony, hard work and inspired effort on field

Develop and cherry pick? Or rebuild?
If we’re going down the latter then we need a coach pronto. If we stay on the develop and cherry pick route we need to keep Kimmorley as coach for 23 or as long as it takes. Then send him back to pathways. We may get a spoon or two, but it’s better than the magic wand approach, which hasn’t worked very often.

Was there any real chance that Newcastle was going to take Brooks or all just media hype?

Definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.
How many times we went trough the same cycle? We are either unwilling or don't know how to change.

The problem I have with this is AD, Hastings and Laurie all need to prove themselves and they haven't.

It's no good having a stable spine if that spine is ordinary.

Just to be clear I don't have a solution or a better option.

We don't need a rebuild. We need to take the develop and cherry pick our way foward but the club has to make good decisions.

As am I but the issue is we don’t yet have their replacements and without replacements we are stuck with Seyfarth getting heaps of game time.

Seyfarth spends the whole 80 minutes playing childhood games such as ‘Hide & Seek’ and ‘Stuck In The Mud’ … he’s not robust or mature enough for first grade, I can’t bare watching his half-hearted nonsense anymore.

Maybe. I see him as a stop gap but he’s been solid enough.
