This inconsistency DNA - and let's call it for what it is - is slowly becoming our trademark. Sadly Madge seems to have no idea on how to change it. We can't hang our hopes on a turn around when clearly it is not luck or faith that is against us. The team is either in a state of a perennial anxiety soon as points are scored against us or mentally too easy to defeat. In any case they require a coach that has the ability to leave his ego out the door and get into the players heads rather than one that expects that work alone will get the job done. So forget about remaking them. You have to accept them as is and make the best of a bad situation. To do that you need some smart mental strategies. Which we lack. The key to effectively playing present is to focus on the 'next play.' Not the one that just happened--it's over. Not the one that may happen later, but the play right in front of you. You must learn how to focus on the task at hand and execute that to the best of your ability. Then do that for the next play. And the next play. And the play after that. One play at a time.
