Yep Moltz gone for the season :frowning: That is quite possibly a crucial moment in our club's season as well.

It's not a crucial moment in the club's season, we've still got Galloway and Tuiaki to come back on top of the team who has just won 3 on the trot so think again before you say something like that

ummm and which one would u play at halfback… galloway or tnt? talk about a no brainer

LARS procedure anyone??

I don't agree with it for such a young kid but he could be rushed back if we wanted him to be.

I believe for a young id, he should get the appropriate rest and recovery and take his time…and extra 6 months here will make the world of difference for some club in 7-8 years time

Dont worry…...Tui <big>WILL</bigbe back.

you know more then the Medical Staff?

Payten is a huge loss.

I disagree. While he's been a great servent for us, I think he's been very ordinary this year.

Hopefully a young guy can step up and replace him and perform like Fifita has. Or even Moors come in as a direct replacement (wide running second rower).

**towntiger wrote**:It is not a very well known fact, however in the tackle after full-time when Blake Ayshford did his knee last week against Canberra, Moltzen also injured his knee in the same tackle and was in serious doubt for this week's match. I just wonder if the knee was weak and just gave way as a result of the injury from the previous week. Given they reported he did both his ACL and his lateral ligament, i feel tis may be the case - he has strained one ligament last week and has over compensated with the other ligaments - unfortunately both have gone.

Seems no one wants to know.

Yet another case of medical negligence?

Do tell Dr Innsaneink. Explain to us in detail the precise nature of the negligent conduct you are asserting.

Did you not see the "?" ?

Its a question, not an assertion…read towntigers post, it could well be a case of negligence if that is indeed fact

Could it? Please tell me how.

I am looking forward to your break down of the legal elements of negligence and how they would be attracted in the circumstances.

Ink.

Medical negligence requires a duty of care, a breach of that duty, harm and the breach of the duty must have caused that harm.

Clearly there's a duty of care and clearly there's harm. Please explain how this would constitute a breach of the duty and how that breach caused harm.

You too mustve missed the bit where I explained it was a question…..you guys need glasses or something?

Stupid wannabe Perry Masons :brick:

Is a statement.

Its all there in tigertowns post, clear as day

Seems to imply there is a possibility of negligence.

Given you don't even know what medical negligence is, you shouldn't be making these statements or implications.

Ink,

Towntigers facts establish nothing more than Moltzen had a pre-existing injury. Its a VERY long bow from this to even establish that the pre-existing injury was of any relevance to the injury he suffered on the weekend. Its an even longer bow to draw any inference of negligence.

Any injury (theoretically) could be attributable to a negligent act by a medical professional. This doesnt make it right to suggest that may be the case without sufficient information.

Speculating with a complete absence of material information is simply meaningless. Thurston got injured on the weekend … it may be medical negligence
