They had to go through 2nd, 4th and 6th to get there.

It was 14-6 with less than ten to go.

Souffs played Manly and Easts to get there, considering Manly was beaten by both Canterbury and Souffs I'd say if any team had the rails run it was the Rabbits.
 
Canterbury was worst team to qualify imo too.

Statistically they were mid table at best and only eels in p9 finished lower but their Sh of season run was top 2 stuff.

Storm belting them tonight, don't know what that means for us next week, but you seem spot on about pretenders.
 
Well the wooden spoon race is now down to Newcastle and us. The Titans win today has saved them because we won't win another game …. Will the Knights though?

Sorry to hear that TT, I was never confident about the sharks game and while I dont feel as confident as I did for the melbourne game, I think our blokes might just give it their all this weekend to avoid the spoon. warriors dont have much to play for whereas saints (our last game) do so now is their chance.

Not often I support the storm but this is one of them, oh no Roberts just scored an intercept try for Newcastle 😕 16-6 kick to come make that 18-6 Newcastle
 
Tonights game is a long way from over but it does show up how poor our game was on the weekend. The Titans played with some spirit, the Knights are playing like a team who dont want the spoon.

The Tigers talked about not wanting the spoon but like the rest of the year talk is all we have seen.

I thought the Sharks game was the worst attitude ive seen from the team this year, almost looked like the last six weeks with Potter when they just couldnt be bothered. The Knights and Titans on the other hand have shown some heart.
 
If we do get the wooden spoon , and seeing how broke our club is , I wonder if they'll release a limited edition commemorative wooden spoon ?

o crap here comes the 1st of i think will be 3 wooden spoons. i know the old board got us into this pickle but this board has done nothing to help , JT has been a failure and letting so many seasoned players go has come back to bit us. god help us for the next two years.
 
40 minutes away..we have to be honest… we deserve it thanks to our incompetent board.the so-called plan that we kept on hearing is a joke.WE DIDNT HAVE ONE AND WE HAVENT GOT ONE FOR NEXT YEAR.get used to it guys!!!!
