Tigers $3.5m Roster Plan

Dogs and Saints will have a red hot tip at him. I think the Dogs will be the club we'll be really up against. The Saints seem to manage their cap about as well as we do.

We are a funny mob, when the media write something we don't like we label them as imposters and crap jurnos but when we read something we like its a different story. Don't get me wrong I am as guilty as anyone else and my mini rant has nothing to do with what was posted above. I just thought I would highlight what a fickle mob we are..me included
 
Don't think the same thing didn't go through my mind SC. We always seem to put more stock into the things we want believe over the things we don't.

Yeah but he's in a totally different league to Teddy and the other top flight fullbacks at this stage - he's totally unproven as an NRL fullback.

Doesn't sound stupid at all mate, cross of Saints who have a complete star in Matt Dufty (watch him shine), Knights who signed Ponga on serious $, Parra have French. Only the dogs I can see having a serious crack but I don't think they'd be interested in Tedesco they need a half and I reckon they'll go after Moses hard or Brooks depending on how he plays this season they've got Brett Morris and Hopoate who can play FB relatively well.

I've never felt threatened that Teddy would leave us, same goes with Woods, and TBH I don't even care what happens to Brooks (Hoping to eat my words at the end of the season), Moses is the only struggle to keep in my eyes and I'm hoping we can keep all four and to do so we need to make the 8 thus making the decision to commit for all 4 a much easier one!
 
Johnny Tuivasa-Sheck the younger brother of Roger East have raps on him and they have Latrell Mitchell why do they need King Teddy but I think East will go hard for Moses

Thats a good point, making the 8 will help re-sign them but, I'm hoping that we get their contracts sorted well and truly before then.

Mitchell Pearce, Connor Watson, Luke Keary, Ryan Matterson…there will be teams after Moses but I don't see the Roosters being one of them. Bulldogs, Dragons, Knights, Eels and Bunnies seem likely threats to me.

Don't know how much truth is in it - but smart move to lure them, based on what we hear about them. Bring your mates with you. Big outlay - the salary cap seems to work so much better at other clubs!!!

It would be better for us just to bring Hasler here… might bring a few big boppers we need with him.

If, and its a big if the Dogs are going to talk to these players, my tip is its a ploy to get just one of them, Moses. IMO they will bump up the price of Woods and Teddy with the intention of putting Moses put of our range. Tigers need to be shrewd here, the is no way the are interested in Woods, and while every club would love Tedesco, the fact Hasler is very happy with Hopoate suggests they would want there funds spent on weaker areas.

Tigers may need to call there bluff, especially with Woods.
 
Rumours will be around until they are signed up , but so far we have secured none of them , and we just announced we have secured Josh which is a good thing BUT my priority would have been Teddy or Mosses first , , also did Josh ask the question who is coach next year , are the big 4 staying or any of them , you would think so cause if they all leave it's going to be a huge hole to fill and you would not like to be here for another rebuild
 
Just crap rumours that the Dogs might consider signing a few high profile players. Ground breaking gossip there. Not even based on anything. Just that the players are off contract and maybe the Dogs will want to consider them as an option.
Someone just writes this crap to keep themselves in a job for another week
