We need a halfback.

No we dont ,we need our hooker to just play hooker.

Have you watched our last two games??? Yes we need a halfback.

Yes i have , have you ?It worries me big time when Farah is continually at first reciever over calling the halfbacks plays.

That is because our halfback has no plays,if Moltzen knew what he was doing this wouldn't happen,we need a proper half.

DCE knocked a Manly deal back; I would love to throw everything at him.

Great, young, genuine, halfback. Perfect fit for the Tigers.

SBW will be in the bag for the Roosters

Especially seeing they have pulled out of negotiations with Quade Cooper

**If we are going to spend 800k on a player I want Cooper Cronk or Jonathan Thurstan**

Agreed! As much as I like SBW as a player, it is more important that we secure a decent half that can lead the team around the park, properly. It's been our biggest problem for way too long now and it really needs to be fixed. That said, I believe if Humble was given the chance to develop in this position, he may well turn out to be as good as Cronk or Thurston! Sterlo thought it was possible and he's not a bad judge.

No thankyou,
As good as he his , look what he did to Canterbury.

As much as I'd love to see sonny bill in tigers colours, I'd much rather make a play for daly cherry-Evans..Moltzen is a shit halfback I'd much rather have him at fullback recapturing last years 2nd half of season form and sacking Tom humble coz he's shithouse

Why would any of you wanna throw money at these older players (Cronk/Thurston) for short term gain?? Moltz has done the job in the past & when he has some time there,, he will again.. Use the money to secure the likes of Miller,, Sironen,, ect.. Invest in our future,, Manly are reaping the benifits of this now with Cherry-Evans. I still Question The Thinking Behind signing Blair and Loosing Fafita, I Believe we will Regret that decision as we did with the Hoffman Deal.. It's only early But, Blair is yet to prove himself, in my opinion..

SBW - overrated as a footballer and a boxer, honestly, did you see the guys he fought, I think my mother would have towelled up most of them a lot quicker, he's a talented athlete I give you that but I have still to see him reach his potential as a footballer, would not be worth the money at all.

Just think if we sign both SBW and Mason we could have heaps of Bulldogs fans jump ship and support the Tigers 😱pen_mouth: 😢

Anyone want to sign them both now

He hasn't played league since 2008 - and has spent the time since lounging as a centre in rugby union.
I am aware of the publicity (good and bad) he brings but for the money he would want he wouldn't be worth looking at.
People are talking $800k a season - how could we possibly afford that ?( even with Ellis going)
Whoever gets him will be buying an over-rated , over payed underacheiver whose manager will do anything to get his cut of the payday.
These guys have no conscience and no loyalty - let someone else buy the problems.

SBW may be many things but an over-rated footballer isn't one of them. The one thing we lack is a genuine offloader in the forwards, BMM and moors can offer this if given the chance but they are rarely given the opportunity. Both should be picked this week based on last weeks performance.

Gun are you saying that SBW is an 800k a season footballer

At 800k he is overrated and highly overrated at that

i just wish I could of got the footage of his missed tackle in Rd 1 Super 15 game this season

You wouldn't pay half of that based on that missed tackle alone

If we are playing SBW in the centres is he twice the centre that Lawrence is because thats the price difference Rowdy is on 380 k reportedly a season

Most union teams seem to use their centres like RL second rowers - i.e. charge the ball into the defence to make yards. I don't see that being a problem. With his skill set he'll adapt back to league without too many problems. Money and attitude will be the bigger factors.

Khoder Nasser is a pervasive cancer whose presence we would not want within 10km of Concord IMHO
