Tigers sign Corey Brown for two years

yeah i agree we maybe short on quality outside back, just wating to see if Trent Jennings comes good after some unlucky injuries. Was an Aussie scholboy with tedesco and Nufaloma , plays in the centres , saw him at reggies training last night with Fletch, has put on some size i reckon to be 100kg

didnt watch the cook islands game but the post match wrap up said leulia's opposing centre got the better of him in this game.

Defensively he played very well Prmz but he is slow

He reminds me very much of Adrian Vowles the ex Cowboys and Qld centre / lock (You might be a bit young to remember him )

Extremely reliable in defence , but offers little in attack

Good squad player then? (that's more-or-less the Vowles mould.)

He went OK v the Welsh

How that would translate to the NRL might be a different story

Happy I am pretty sure he has scored plenty of tries over the last couple of years in Super League. What he lacks in pace he may make up for in power close to the tryline.

If anything, we are short in the forwards. Backs we have: Lawrence, Koro, Nofo, Simona, Richards
for 4 positions. I'm personally pretty happy with that squad. Just enough quality to create competition.

In NYC, Hoeter could be the next big thing.

.. and in State Cup depth we have: Mr T, Leuila, Brown, Brien

We could even use Moltz in centre if needed and push Anasta/Siro/Auston to 5/8th.

I reckon we are far better covered than prior seasons.

Personally, I think we are short 1 quality prop. Backs look good to me.

Lulia is very good with the ball in his hands. Can get his supports away big time. A lot like Lawrence used to do.

I am not so sure about his defence, however, we will see. Potter did not get him over here to play Reserves. It will be up to Lulia to prove himself at this level. Let us give him his chance.

I always thought his defence was one of his strengths Col , maybe he might prove to be an astute buy if we are both correct

Sorry happy but had to…

Didn't he just get quickest in the club over mtrs...

Hopefully your like me, and don't mind being proved wrong, as long as its a positive for the team.
