Are you watching Hobbo?

Lucy has played his heart out.

Obviously an agenda.

I watched ..

It’s one thing playing your heart out...

it’s another thing playing dumb !

No agenda here !

Could the reason Mybe is doing nothing in attack have something to do with the guy inside him? Why is it that all our attacking raids are directed to Nofa's side? That guy hiding behind the goal post with 7 on his back seems to be the problem with our lack of right side attack. Even the loaner work experience kid has a bigger claim to owning this team than our MIA former Dally M Halfback of The Year. Robbie and Benji were criticised for overplaying their roles for years while our halfback went AWOL. Maybe Brooks should go back to centre where he played his best game for WT and he can continue to fade in and out of games from there.

When did Brooks ever play centre?

Na, too short

I cant stand REynolds as a bloke or as a player and wish he was out of the club, but credit where credit is due, he stood up today and other than once racing out of the line that meant Grant needed to save his ass, he didnt do anything stupid. Reynolds had a pretty good game.

Much better effort tonight - boys really had a dig.
Anyone who says Madge has lost the sheds doesn’t know footy. They responded to him amazingly.
Here’s the thing - this commitment last week and we get 2 points. Bloody frustrating.
Also, ref did not cost us this game: unforced errors cost us - usual problem
Packer also cost us. Poor lateral movement led to try, 10 minutes in bin and a penalty goal from a head shot. Players should call him out - terrible effort from him.

Need to score more than 6 points to have a chance to win a game, we had our opportunities but just couldn't create anything. AD is growing on me though, I was critical of his signing, I'd like to see a player trailing on his inside as he goes through the line with his footwork.

He was far better ..probably only caught out twice positionally from memory

I'm still not convinced he is a fullback, his positioning really isn't good enough.

C'mon Cochise - he was really good tonight, hardly an error. Didn't think he got caught out of position at all.

He is growing into the roll at the rate of knots.

I thought he was great tonight, just not sure fullback is his position yet.

14-6 against last years grand finalist is a fantastic effort. Our defence pretty much all game was unbelievable. Douhei will be a special player if he keeps playing like that. Talau held his own. Reynolds brought some great energy. I think alot more positives then negatives to take out of that game. If we get the 50/50 calls I think the result could have been very different.

Reynolds gets a B+ from me. He did pretty well.

Packer a Z-.

I mean really. 9 metres! 9 bloody metres! I ran further than that to the dunny at halftime!

From memory he only had one run. The rest of the time he was on we didn't have the ball.

Good on you mate, nice to read a real positive on the game tonight. I also thought they "did good," sure we made a few mistakes, played ten with 12 men, had a few calls go against us BUT we played last years grand finalists (that usually put 40 or 50 on us). Could have gone either way at one stage, I am happy that we will improve further next week. Yes good on Talau, deserves to be there again next week and we could be developing someone very special at the back.

Well done Madge, well done boys. The Ref should be in Z grade next week.

He did. 1 run. NRL reckons he was on for 13 minutes. I don’t want to watch the replay but surely he had time for a second run. Big money prop starting from the bench should have had two runs first attacking set.

You could see the potential there tonight. Talau was just fine and Luciano played his best game for us. If Stefano can go okay next year it'll be a help. Twal and Aloiai were good. Musgrove has a lot of potential but was lacking, just like in his other two matches with us. Maguire is exactly right in asking for consistency in this type of effort. We do that and we'll be pretty good.

If they can keep the core of this team, add a strike forward and an athlete to fill one of the back spots we'd be a season away from being top 6. But the core would involve keeping Grant and that doesn't seem like it's gonna happen.

Interesting read, had to get up early for work so missed the game.

Really disappointed with Packer's stats, not surprising, just disappointing that he didn't take this opportunity.

Pretty good post, just need some more potency in attack.

I can't believe people are bagging AD. He's doing pretty well at fullback. Look at LM, he's played how many NRL seasons in a winning team and is struggling to adjust to playing fullback in yet again another winning team. Give the guy a break and let him continue to build before doing the classic WTs thing of moving him into the halves, the centres, hooker and then the bench as a utility and ruining his career. We need specialist fullback and I think he will be great. He's showing alot of promise in his first full NRL season.
