Much better effort tonight - boys really had a dig.
Anyone who says Madge has lost the sheds doesn’t know footy. They responded to him amazingly.
Here’s the thing - this commitment last week and we get 2 points. Bloody frustrating.
Also, ref did not cost us this game: unforced errors cost us - usual problem
Packer also cost us. Poor lateral movement led to try, 10 minutes in bin and a penalty goal from a head shot. Players should call him out - terrible effort from him.

Need to score more than 6 points to have a chance to win a game, we had our opportunities but just couldn't create anything. AD is growing on me though, I was critical of his signing, I'd like to see a player trailing on his inside as he goes through the line with his footwork.

He was far better ..probably only caught out twice positionally from memory

I'm still not convinced he is a fullback, his positioning really isn't good enough.

I don't think it was a problem tonight at all.

No it wasn’t a problem. I’ll give credit where it’s due and that was his best game. I can see why others like him at fullback. He has a great step as well. Just wish he had more pace. I’d still prefer him at 5/8.

He has excellent footwork at line

Doohey is going ok at the back ..he’ll come really good I reckon

He still looks a bit unco ?

Reynolds gets a B+ from me. He did pretty well.

Which would be great if he was 22 and on 250k.

Yeah. I’d like to see him string a few games together injury and hassle free.

Packer a Z-.

I mean really. 9 metres! 9 bloody metres! I ran further than that to the dunny at halftime!

That's it exactly, there is something that looks awkward about him, like a baby giraffe, especially when passing.

I thought Talau did well. Earns his spot and a 1000% improvement over Jennings.

He did do well, needs to stay on the wing for now.

Great effort from the team against more fancied opposition and some refereeing that we have no control over. Disapointed by the result but not in the team.

These players are playing the best they can all credit ! Unfortunately it is just not good enough , there are a lot coming off contract this season I would not resign any of them !

No argument from me Snake.

He needs rhythm...or a few shots of Boubon before playing .
I like him though !

Just watched the post-match press conference. To sum it up, Madge happy with the first half and happy with the overall effort. Not so happy about the execution in the second half.

I hope there are more changes coming as a result.

The club has plenty of money to recruit at least three top players into their team and Madge will be making the right choices.

Maguire bought Jennings and the lailua brothers, I have no faith he can improve our roster

Not sure if I can take much more of this... we can say that we can’t blame the refs every week... but it’s obvious that wrong calls directly lead to points.. nearly every time. It’s a joke. Never mind the fact that the players run it in my face and take a knee at the end. Leave that crap out of sport. Less time pandering to PC and focus on playing.

Some will be forced but he said he'll review the game and adjust if necessary.

Imagine being an NRL coach and you need to teach your squad that they need to play for 80 mins 🙄

Did he mention he made another blunder picking packer

One of the journos raised it. Madge wasn't happy but didn't question the effort.

U cannot win games playing one out football, not sure what the hell maguire is up to but this just taking one out hits around the ruck is not going to win u many games.

Not even good enough to televise madges whole press conference.... we are a laughing stock and yet we make fox the most money.... sorry guys.... just upset.

Exactly ...
It does my head in when the ball carrier runs back into the ruck .

There is a lot praise for Josh @ 6, yet both he and Brooks failed to build pressure. Not one repeat set against the Raiders.

Many across the park had plenty of attitude in defence, our go forward was strong at times also, yet 6 & 7 failed to build pressure and capitalise.
