Will Jamie Soward start or not against the Wests Tigers? It is a talking point throughout the media but one that doesn’t faze Tim Sheens.
The former NSW five-eighth has been named on the interchange bench after playing strongly for Illawarra Cutters in the State Cup last weekend. Sheens said he was unsure of the Dragons line-up and said five-eighth Nathan Fien could be shifted back to hooker to make way for Soward.
Marking Soward will be Liam Fulton. The back-rower played five-eighth in the win over Parramatta last Monday night.
“Liam did a good job as a running 13 type 6\. That’s all we expect this week,’’ Sheens offered.
"He is a a runner and that’s the best part of his game so I won’t take that away. Our game plan will hopefully work a little better this week with him playing his second game there for us.
“I was pretty happy with his efforts last week. "
