Will Jamie Soward start or not against the Wests Tigers? It is a talking point throughout the media but one that doesn’t faze Tim Sheens.

The former NSW five-eighth has been named on the interchange bench after playing strongly for Illawarra Cutters in the State Cup last weekend. Sheens said he was unsure of the Dragons line-up and said five-eighth Nathan Fien could be shifted back to hooker to make way for Soward.

Marking Soward will be Liam Fulton. The back-rower played five-eighth in the win over Parramatta last Monday night.

“Liam did a good job as a running 13 type 6\. That’s all we expect this week,’’ Sheens offered.

"He is a a runner and that’s the best part of his game so I won’t take that away. Our game plan will hopefully work a little better this week with him playing his second game there for us.

“I was pretty happy with his efforts last week. "

**"He is a a runner and that’s the best part of his game so I won’t take that away".**

Pity you took it away from Benji for much of the season :unamused:

I actually think his defense is probably the best part of his game, so that would make him a 13 type 6 playing as a 13, yet sometime 7 come 9

so I won’t take that away"

Unlike his blue headgear eh eh eh???? :imp:

Sheens has lost it,I really hope he is punted, but that ain't gonna happen, how the hell he can use injuries as an excuse for playing blokes out of position(interview on FOX) is amazing,Sirro is the only injury in the halves all year.

"A 13 type 6"

Only Sheens could say that

Please enlighten me more with your profound knowledge of the game

Blokes like Fittler ,Wally Lewis,Ellery Hanley and Anasta are a 13 type 6

Johnny Raper when he played 6 on occasions would fit that mould also

Guys who take on the line with strength and can offload and have some footwork

At least someone is happy with Fults at 6… Don't think he has many friends

Fulton was pretty poor last week at 6 - it was his worst game of the season.

Yeah his hands let him down big time Dropped the ball with the line wide open just before half time and then shortly after the break

But as usual he was one of the best defensively (Not that that was hard last week )

What really, REALLY, frustrates me about the 5/8 position at the moment is the fact that we have quite a few options of genuine halves.

Mostly Humble, who has played very well every time given an opportunity. So I don't see why he can't play in the halves with Benji.

Then there is Miller and Chisholm.

But there defense is very poor Miller esp. Chisholm must stink at the moment, he way down on the bench in reggies.

Any way great game tonite by Liam, in attack & defense.

Well Benji's 2 best games of the season have been the last 2 so I see no reason to move Fulton out of the 6 just yet although when Lawrence comes back this will get interesting

Benji's try assists were on song tonight , but his kicking game was the worst I can remember . Ellis had a better kicking game. Lol

fulton was good tonight..only his 2nd game in this position..compared to blair been given ALL season to fit in to a different team in the SAME position!!!!!!!

Ive a lot of time for liam fulton,he is consistent, works hard in defence and would always be in my team but not at 6.we have got away with him out of position the last 2 games but i doubt it will be the same against the dogs.
