Tim Sheens happy with Liam Fulton at 6

Any position where Liam Fulton gets to play 80 minutes is good for the team. He is the under rated achiever and a great team man who turns up every single week and plays his heart out, ya gotta love that.

Why are posters knocking Liam Fulton's effort at five-eight? He IS the most under-rated Tigers player, because he puts in as much as Beau Ryan every week, but receives little plaudits.

X 3 on both comments. He is a true Tiger and the type of person you want on your team. Having a great season.

He doesnt play up to the fans, doesnt circle corner posts, tap doorawys, rubs his head, kiss his jersey, isnt on TV
Fulton is a footballer with a LOT between the ears

Well said :smiley: one of our best players :master:

Fulton is very whole hearted and has a crack every week. Clearly 5/8 is not his best spot, but we have won 2 in a row with him and short term that may be the best option

Over the years Fulton has regularly been one of our best, and nothing has changed much in that regard. His talent is helping make a fist of this 5/8 gig, much like Benji's talents get him through at 1/2\. Neither is their best position though.

One thing Liam does bring to the halves is great defence, however a good 5/8 also has a kicking game. But if it is between he and Lawrence, I'd be leaving Lawrence in the centres!

The other thing he brings to the halves, is now the Tigs have the best looking 1/2 combination in the league.{ according to Liam}

half our team does that.

If every player in our side every week put in the same professionalism and effort (and guts) that Liam Fulton does every week we would not be in the situation as far as the ladder is concerned or having to win x amount of games to make the semis

Virtually every week you can be guaranteed that Liam is in the top 4 or 5 players and his best and worse games have little variance

The Ultimate Clubman in my opinion
