Ink said it earlier. These are the threads where people's true colours come out, just can't help themselves. Posters who on the surface seem like they're passionate WT fans all of a sudden show their true nature. And what do you know, it isn't just former Magpie fans who are still living in the past

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the magpies were technically called "western suburbs". You can continue the tripe about there being no "balmain" in the setup, however if you really want to get nancy about it all, there is no western suburbs in it either. Wests, the name/ term is a generalization of the area in which the team comes from in relation to the cbd. And guess what balmain….. Your west of the city. So my tally comes to, both teams getting helped by the 'wests' as this is their origin in regards to the cbd, and the other being solely in favor of the tigers.... That's two to one without going into jerseys or colours.... Leave the magpie on the sleeve, put a bamain tiger logo on the other side if you must... Just get the hell over it.

One of the most divisive comments i've ever read on this forum. Should be really proud of yourself champ. How is it possible to be a WT fan when you openly admit you hate one half of the JV?

True. The balmain fans always take arrogant potshots and pretend they aren't and the wests fans always whine about being victims and pretend they aren't. Both very bad attitudes to take.

With the state the club is in I'm surprised this thread had this many posts. More importantly than what's on the sleeve, I would like the club to try and get the players to run in the right direction, kick the ball when they're supposed to, tackle hard etc…. And I'd like management and the coach to do their jobs with a 3-fold increase in professionalism and transparency. If they get that right then they can play in purple jumpsuits with green and yellow polka dots. If they keep playing like busteds and show such a lack of direction off the field, and we argue about how many teeth the tiger should have and what colour the socks should be then I'm afraid we've missed the point. In first grade there is one franchise. One club. Wests tigers.
