If Moltz's talk is better than Tedescos' then well and good, But I can assure you… That's the only thing he is better at!!
Simply put, The longer we keep Tedesco out of Firsts.... The more games we will lose!!

I don't think Moltzen's talk is better than Tedesco its just pretty much all Potter could come up with because Tedesco is better in every other aspect and Potter knows it.
Potter also knows if Moltzen is dropped then Benji ain't going to be very happy, I guarantee you Moltzen won't be playing any NSW cup…. he will be in the team all year.

what a load of BS

must be close to Season kick off…bagging players before the comp starts

I can see the threads now if we lose on Monday..

Sack Potter,
Sack Motlz,
Sack the whole bloody team

It's not the off season much longer mate.
As for "Bagging" the Players, It's not so much a case of Bagging them…
More of a case of best man for the job, gets the job!!
We don't play Iosefa at 9, To have Farah in State Cup
We don't Play Moltz at 6, So Benji can go back to ressies...
Moltz (Maligned or not) Isn't as good in the positions he plays as others we have available, Therefore shouldn't be in the team.
Like I said, He seemed in the trials to have improved in some facets of his game... And I'm willing to give him a shot under a new coach.
IMHO He has nothing on Tedesco...

People view everything in black and white (and I dont mean the magpies) terms everyone is either amazing or useless….

truth is in most cases they are somewhere in between.

Stats dont prove everything, but I read a nice little snippet on Moltzen from Ben Ikin discussing Tim Moltzen, and apart from metres gained where Tim was poor, he was strong in every other facet including errors and so forth.

People on here solely focus on the way he takes the ball back, ignoring the the dozen tries and line breaks he made or the try assists and line break assists. He can play is good, the criticism directed his way is often grossly unfair, he is not the perfect player but he is far from the muppet people on here make him out to be.

Couldn't have said it any better myself.

I try to be reasonable when it comes to our players but Tim Moltzen is 24 and has played 80 games for us at fullback, halfback, five eighth and centre, all positions that should equate to him having a much longer highlight reel than 3.5 minutes. Robert Lui has a twice as long highlight reel by Bon and played half the matches. It's telling to me that Bon couldn't find highlights.

Highly unfair to compare the 2 seeing as though Lui played the majority of his football with us at halfback, Moltzen on the other hand has switched around too many times to be able to adjust to one position. TBF he has played mostly at fullback which isn't his natural position anyway.

How can we sit here and compare 2 players according to the highlights they have on youtube? Call me crazy but I thought we had passed the youtube famous era :unamused:
