To make the finals

I'm still a bit skeptical we can make the finals. I'm not sure which team will drop out of the 8.

Cowboys, Knights & Manly are on 24\. Panthers 25 & storm 27\. The Broncos are on 22 and Eels 21\. Its pretty congested.

Hope we do though.
 
My tip before this round was for the cowboys to miss out, but after this rounds's results the knights are in real danger. Still plenty of time for anything to happen…
 
the knights have got a pretty tough last few games, and a coach who is leaving.
a win next week and a knights loss and the tigers are in the 8 and who knows if they can stay there then?
we have been burnt too many times in recent years for me to truly get my hopes up 100% but i am 98% hopeful!
please tigers, dont hurt us again!!
 
I certainly believe in the courage comittment will and skill of the Tigers group as a whole it just comes down to luck, the bounce of the ball and a fair go from the whistle blowers. Goooooooo you good thing.
 
As long as Sheens doesn't move Payten to the backrow,we should make it,he always trys to fit Payten,Gibbs and Galloway in the run on side,it never works.
 
I loved the comments of all the Wests Tigers players after the game. It really sounded as if they have their heads screwed on right. I hope their actions over the next few weeks follow up on those words.

Oh, and I just tested to see whether we could miss out on the finals even if we win all our remaining points. It is mathematically possible, even if it is highly improbable. Just goes to show though that we need to win as many games as we can of our final 5.

Why is it suprisingly good? Any losses we've had have mostly been by really small margins.

Maybe you should, that way you wont make such a tool of yourself.

Mostly agree, it's not impossible, but is unlikely. We need everyone fit and ready to go. The return of Galloway should add something to the forward pack. The games against the Bulldogs, Manly and Gold Coast are the ones where we will likely fall. I think Manly will be the most difficult of the three.

St George gave it to the Chocolate soldiers....Storm gave it to the Cows....the path is becoming more open...If Souths beat Manly (which I doubt), Parra beat Newcastle (every Chance) ......We towell the Rorters by 71 and we are 6th.......who'd have thought....

Foot on the Gas Wests Tigers...C'mon Boys...Licence to Thrill......

and if we cant beat the last place team on the ladder to get into the 8 then we dont deserve in any way to make the finals
