Also if I'm not mistaken, Tigers were compelled to have Top 28 finalised before Round 1? And we only had 27. So if there was no external signing Tigers would have to have upgraded an already contracted player into that position. It's not the best business, because you would have to upgrade someone who has already agreed to terms with you.

Knock on him would be that he's never been able to play big minutes because of his size and as a result, fitness.
