I'm an old Magpies dinosaur and think this jersey is fantastic to commemorate Tommy. I would love to see the club do the same with the Phillips tigers jersey to commerate the passing of any Balmain legends as well. It is a way of celebrating where we have come from.

a premiership winning coach and halfback from the last time balmain won a premiership I think that might deserve something at Leichardt oval

I get it if the shoe was on the other foot and they had a balmain jersey I wouldn't give a stuff either ink just seeing it both ways.
it would be smart if they sold both a Magpies and balmain jersey at some point during the year.

As far as Elias goes I think he wants a bit more even say hence that is why his consortium is looking to buy the club. Do not think they will succeed but the lack of recognition for nosworthy and Bolton is not that great. The club has the last game at Leichardt to do something for them I guess

Wests Tigers have an enormous; throbbing heart and it’s now time to take the TOMMY approach with these players to find out just how much ticker they prefer playing with when the whole world is watching

I hope we go better than Pharlap. Although highly unlikely - they might feel some of the prestige and magical essence running through that jersey and look around to see a group of magpies circling that will blot the sun.
