Tradition for foundation.

I was very disappointed that someone has brought this up AGAIN!

Please can we move forward and on into the future.

The past was brilliant - two mighty clubs, that won premierships, produced terrific internationals and had many a stoush against each other - but it was all in the past and that is where it should stay.

We are the Wests Tigers - coming up to twenty years for God's sake and we still have people wanting to go backwards.

A good jersey that reflects both clubs, equal % of colours should be produced and we should stick with it - like the other Sydney clubs stick with theirs.

Up the Mighty Tigers!!!!!

Im not quite saying go backwards.
More to regain an indentity, I’m sorry your very disappointed I didn’t set out to upset anyone.
A lot of teams have traditional strips.
Broncos
Melbourne
Roosters
Sharks
Souths

Wow actually there all strong clubs who at some stage went away from there old jerseys and have gone back(some full time)at times to pull them back on.
Where’s the risk really of going backwards?

Remembering where we came from is important but we need to focus on where we are going. Stick with a mainstay jersey that can be seen as Wests Tigers. We are approaching 20 seasons every fan under 25 has no connection to the Wests or Balmain.

Fine to alternate every year in the heritage round. Nothing wrong with remembering your past as long as it does hold back your future.

Rotate the heritage round, wests, balmain then west's tigers.

Can see it both ways. Understand that we need to move forward, but should not ignore the past.

I thought the black jersey that had one white and one orange V from a few years back was pretty good. Simple, looked good, and a bit of a nod to the past without trying too hard.

Liked the black, white & orange hooped jersey too.

We'll be dead soon and the kids today will have very little idea of the foundation clubs.
It's us old farts holding on to the good ol' days.

I let go a long time ago.

So very true

I'm pretty boring , but the less jerseys we have in a season the better in my opinion

Home /away , indigeneous and womens in league and that's it please

2 weeks a year is good. Kids are interested in heritage it makes things more interesting.
Without history we are nothing.

I must be even older. Just a home and away for me. I dont think we need jerseys in those other rounds to celebrate the indigenous or women. We could boot the players who abuse the women in their life to start with. That might achieve a bit more than a jersey and a lunch.

Im as Balmain as they come but don’t even like seeing fans wearing Balmain or Magpies jerseys- WestsTigers is who we are

This "respect the past. think of the future. We are the Wests Tigers now!" mantra gets a little tedious. If it really is a new, different club, when was the last time you attended their Annual General meeting in their club.
Yes, of course we're the Wests Tigers. The name was adopted from the Wests Magpies and Balmain Tigers after we (the RLFC members of those clubs) voted to form a joint venture team to represent those two clubs in the NRL.
The black & white Wests, or black and gold Balmain jerseys are just as legitimate for Tigers supporters to wear as a West Tigers jumper, and personally I believe both are more attractive than the GWS black, white and orange strips that have now evolved.

Go for your life spook. But I don’t like it.

I saw this on leagueunlimited. It shows the jerseys of each club and the rounds they were worn. Jeez we were all over the shop in the first 10 rounds.

It seems most clubs are going back to predominantly one jersey. Us and the warriors behind the exceptions.

Looks like we got our act together for rounds 18 to 25.

Yeah there's a big difference from start to finish. I wonder what their thinking is.
