Was great to see the team in the contest for the entire game even after the early 2 roosters tries.
Plenty to work on but signs we can be competitive this year and finish above 9th.
Thought our new recruits looked positive and the young guys getting a chance in the 2nd half would of impressed Madge and gave him plenty to think about.
Hastings was very impressive.

Haven't seen enough but Diaz looks impressive. Big body and good foot work. Brooks better game but 5th tackle options still not great. Maybe he improves with Hastings there. Geez that was an impressive debut..

Lids is lively, and creative. Shouldn't be playing 80, but just needs some consistent runs to improve.

After all the talk of Oli Gildart being undersized, he has looked very strong in these 2 trials, particularly tonight searching for the footy and not making Bone head decisions with ball in hand. I was especially impressed tonight
He's huge hey.
Good to see him in some space too.

Roosters had nothing without a halfback, much like us for the last decade.
Musgrove deserves a shoutout, people started turning on him because he wasn't playing but he's shown he's a good prop when he's on the field - fingers crossed no injuries for him this year.
Had a good game and deserves a spot in our 17 come round 1, maybe even starts with Tamou out.

To be fair half those players in the first half will be playing reserves for the roosters
Bitter-sweet.
He is a loss but we have a very good replacement coming and for less money. Still the right decision from WT
Seems they've finally figured out just giving him early ball is the way to go.
