Trying to find the motivation for the Broncos game

So the Mrs asks me lasts Friday " are we booking the Weekend in Brisbane for when we play the Broncos "?
I said do we really need to go?. She says to me you say it ever year before the Season kicks off then halfway in the year you change your mind, I did it to her last year .
So I booked a Hotel for the Broncos Weekend and making a Weekend out of it but to be honest couldn't give a rats about the game.
I've been to Suncorp Stadium and watched the Wests Tigers play a few Seasons back, caught the train from Varsity Lakes and takes just over an hour to get there.

If anyone can recommend any places to go to in Brisbane for me would be much appreciated as we haven't been to Brisbane before.

Help me find the motivation for the game.

Hobbs, give FT a break,he is using the Broncos game as an excuse to have a dirty weekend away, good luck to him I would probably do the same,Brisbane is a lovely city, there would be better views than watching the Tigers get carved up…you can always read the news for the result..

Anyway should be good watching the Broncos horse trotting around the Suncorp turf :unamused:

If you like Asian Cuisine, go to Madame Wu in Riparian Plaza… Great Chefs & Service matched with first class food.

If you like a Steak & Beer, go to Hotel Beach House in the Myer Centre. Great Value for money venue!

Motivation is you will get to see your beloved team humble the Broncos on their home turf, amid a crowd of avid Queenslanders, still hurting after losing the SOO series for the second year in a row - motivation enough?

Your in the same boat as me mate !!!
It's worth the trip to Suncorp trust me , especially if the blues win tomorrow night . Just wear a blues shirt and stick it up them regardless of the Tigers game .
Stay at evolution apartments in the city , cab it to the Caxton hotel for a few pre game beers at lunchtime watch the pussyscats take on the Broncos . Then cruise over to Southbank for a nice feed at the pig and whistle ….
If your really up for a big night u can go to the vic hotel for a Sunday sesh or head to the famed fortitude valley. The valley has taken my soul on a number of occasions . Suncorps a top place to watch footy regardless of who is playing its one of the best stadiums in the world in my opinion

Yeah she's never been to Brisbane and wants to take the kids up there for the Weekend ( Museum) and whatever else. Mind you she's not even interested in the Footy but she knows it's a win win for both.
Anyway should be good watching the Broncos horse trotting around the Suncorp turf :unamused:

Unfortunately , The RSPCA aren't going to allow them to use him that night.
Because they only do it each time they score.
They reckon that would be classed as animal cruelty if they make him do that as many times as that.

Actually that reminds of an old story

Supposedly after the Rabbits got flogged there one game someone convinced Peter Johnston (hard hitting prop in the same vein as Nigel Plum for you younger folks ) that Buck had died
from over exertion

He wanted to have a minutes silence before training because technically it was the Souths players fault that Buck had died

No

I signed and sold the wicket keeping gloves and got a 7 figure amount and the balls couldn't be used again because the power involved knocked the balls out of shape

They also keep the length of tartan from QE2 Stadium that I ran my PB for the 100 m
